HOW IT WORKS
VouchForMe works both ways: vouch for and get vouched for.
The product is designed to support various insurance models based on social proof mechanics.
In essence, it allows the insurance client to lower the insurance premium on account of a higher excess (deductible). While insurance clients usually aren’t comfortable with high excess, VouchForMe enables them to share a part of it with their social circle. By vouching, guarantors make a financial commitment to cover the excess (up to the amount vouched) in case of a damage claim.
As a reward for their commitment, guarantors receive IPL tokens which they can use for subsequent discounts and services or exchange to fiat money.
