Got my bitcointalk account Hacked

Got my account hacked changed email/password.

Have posted to admins,

Just wonder 1 thing how can they change email without verifying it again on mail address?

It is only req to know the password to change your mail? How come, very bad.

The hacker took my pw and changed mail. It didnt have my mail password, only the bitcointalk pw. Still it should not manage to change mail without confirming it again.

Any thoughts?

I cannot, the hacker used my password to change email. The problem is the change email does not required conformation from my email.

Also I see the hacker is now using the account to promote some ICOs and coins. Maybe even targeting some people in my inbox.

The hacker is posting several ICO and trying to scam people I have reached out to admins but nothing, is there nothing I can do?

Read about several similar cases here. If you're not a well-known user, then it seems to me that there is nothing you can do about it. Nevertheless message admins about the problem maybe they will respond.

Pretty much the only way is with a signed message. I can unlock the account but not restore access of it to you if you don't already have access to it. Only theymos and cyrus can do that but good luck with that with or without a signed message.

The forum has experienced some improvement by the administrator on issues concerning hacked and lost account you can check it out and am positive it would assist you in recovering you account

Post the account and your proof that you owned it publicly here in this thread so it can be tagged with warnings until you get it back..

If you have no proof atleast post these scam attempts so we can tag it and stop him from scamming.

Since this is one of the biggest forum for crypto community the security should be much better I have been a member since 2014 and really sad I lost my account.

You haven't lost you account, just follow the newly provided procedure and you will get it back if you have enough proof. I have seen so many people regain back control of their accounts lately after many months. Also, are you in control of the account's original email?

Yes I am in control of my original Email. But I have no signed signature/address on post. But have som unedited PM that I can confirm with, that I have posted some screenshot of deposit and bought some ICO I hope this should be enough(with the original email). Thank you for your positive respond now I hope I can gain back my Account.
