I frozen my account after reading this in my inbox. 
Good news is there is no activity since I froze it but I have hard time to retrieve my account.

Waited 2 weeks, then pinged Theymos for a reply, still nothing.

They probably have more important stuff to do but it's really annoying to start new account with a noobs badge.

How long ago did you message theymos? I suggest you wait two weeks and then resend the message just to be sure you weren't missed somewhere.

The likelihood of getting your account back is very low however based on others' reviews...

Be patience and wait, another people wait for a month and or probably more, and their account still not recovered yet.
But good luck with that, hope you can get your account back asap.

I'm couple of weeks, using patience is my new mantra  

Life sucks when you got hack. Not sure how he did it.
I was logout of forum , then auto login with Chrome, chill an hour the went to bed.
Next morning news ... I got screw

I disable auto-login, convenient but my recent experience tell me is unsafe.

Why not using Digi-ID to login here ?

I will ping in a week or two, I don't want to be a bugger.
Maybe this will attract attention and resolve my issue.

This is a part of the overall account recovery overhaul to a new system. It sounds like you will still be in a queue but the that things should be moving along by the end of this year.
