Hello, I have a question about shipping. How can some sellers offer free shipping for items that costs like $2 or so?

Also would it be possible for someone in US to buy an item from newegg and send it to me in EU because its cheaper in US?

Sometimes the shipping in other countries costs peanuts. I've ordered stuff from China before and the items have cost around £1 and the postage was free.

free shipping for such a cheap item means it's from China Cheesy

I think they have some sort a free shipment paid by their goverment to support their export I think, but I'm not sure, I'v heard something like that Cheesy

That could probably

That could be true, I'll have to look into it further. I'm sure I worked out how much the postage was once from the label and it was only like £0.40 or something.

Well since sometimes postage is the reason I don't buy something, I would say they have a great strategy at selling their own products.

Indeed, now they're one of the biggest industries in the world, such a poor country with such a strong economy Cheesy

They are not poor, not as other countries and if they manage to keep it up this way they won't be poor for long.
