There has got to be a politcal reason that they don't accept bitcoin donations.  I haven't looked into this at all, but who owns wikipedia, or who sponsors it?

every time I come to these forums i think my iq drops 20 points.

You people are fucking morons for wanting to donate to the wikipedia liars.

Also why does bitcoin attract so many stupid people who think regulating bitcoin is what bitcoin's intent is?

I personally would not ever donate to Wikipedia, the Wikimedia Foundation, etc. They are a bureaucratic meth addict's wet dream.

But Wikipedia.org is a top 5 site - huge. If they accept Bitcoin it would just serve our own greedy goals.

I've sent them this email

FYI

https://bitpay.com/
It works basically like paypal: they'll accept BTC from users, and will hand you USD, so that you don't have to bother with actually receiving BTC.
Either that, or you don't really need money as you claim.

Lohoris, your emails are read by support workers, they don't care about your "bitpay spam".

You need to contact the right people, write in threads and discussions.

But I don't care.

That is the address they provided, and I just wrote them what they shold do if they aren't stupid.

Not my problem if they won't listen.
