Alts are bleeding right now due to panick selling, my hunch is because of the recent bitcoin ETF. Nonetheless, this is a good time to accumulate as we know that this state of the market will not last long. Altcoin season might just be just around the corner.

i would invest a lot in bitcoin if i were you and hold it for the time being. if you knew you would lose better hold it or you can sell and buy again.

I think that they will reach the top, the main time that must be tolerated. Altcoin and bitcoin are some of the most stable and fast-growing coins. It depends on how you do it, you need to do everything with your head and study it. What they want to block, of course, is not correct.

The price of counterfeit COINS must have fallen with the price of BTC. The current declining market is no longer suitable for buying altcoin.

Wow this thread really blew up since the last time I checked (it had 1 reply) Thanks all for the interesting opinions.

Yea it seems like right now if btc goes up alts down btc down alts down. I remember back in jan btc went up alts down and then btc went down alts up. I'm waiting for that to happen again and I will be cashing in 90% of my alts for BTC or tether and waiting for the market to dip again Smiley I'm just not sure how much longer we will have to wait for the market to become bullish again I hope it is soon Smiley

Basically, the thing that determines the price of BTC is the buy/sell orders amount on a given exchange(s) on a given moment by a person(s) who decide to buy/sell Bitcoins.
We have had a rough month 'cause people execute big BTC sell orders (1000+ BTC at once). The liquidity is just not there to comfortably sell this amount without moving the price too much.

Altcoin prices were very low compared to the ath price of each and every altcoin available in the market. The price drop doesn't mean a failure it show the lack of resistant to withstand. Such levels of price fluctuations over the past has helped it gain resistance and pump high. Maybe this time too similar price pumping can happen in the falling months as every year marks a big growth by the last quarter of the year.

Yeah, as time goes by crypto currency going down its value as the market are really affected. Also, we try to hold some altcoins that we have since it was so cheap ang hoping it will increase. Those users have more btc as well as eth are really have big rule in order to move tremendously the value but due to those users experience decreasing value they have no choice but to sell as they afraid they have more loss of their different shares.

Since cryptocurrency is so volatile, as of this day prices of altcoin is on low mode the market is colored red. It's the season for investing on the right altcoin. And how to choose the right altcoin? Read the details on this forum and trust your instinct.

There is no concrete answer on why alts go down while btc goes up, but it's pretty clear that investing in btc is way much better than investing in alts.

So bitcoin just keeps going up and down and still not reaching much lower than 6k but everytime these surges with bitcoin happen alt prices keep taking a dive. Even though it seems like when bitcoin takes a dive alts take a dive when btc raises alts take a dive.

Does anyone know why this keeps happening like this usually once money comes out of btc it goes back into the alts and the price raises again but it does not seem to happen like that now. I have lost a lot more % in alts than if I were to just hold btc.

Looking for opinions and suggestions on this subject?

Bitcoin price was going up and down, since it is very volatile, this is because of so many supporters and users but it is not similar to altcoin because alt have only few supporter and user , so it seems it is stagnant in low price.

this is what happened in this less than a year period. I don't do a lot of activities to invest. but the current market pattern can be learned because in every setback it is always tucked in growth even though it is small and does not last long. however, if you trade fast, you will have the opportunity to create profits. so you have to survive to reduce losses due to the past.

So the price of Altcoin is currently decreasing too much but we still hope that someday soon it will rise again like a bull run for my fellow investors who are looking for big profits in the future.

Everything is possible, but we can wait for the "green wave" a few months or even a year. But the times when the cryptocurrency earned 1000% for a month in the past.

it's time to invest in a number of potential altcoins because the price is still calm under the possibility that there will be an upward movement by the end of this year
