Why altcoins and not bitcoin?

Despite of its high volatility, Bitcoin is the most reliable digital asset in crypto. Sometimes altcoins bring more than BTC. Thus, such altcoins as XEM, XRP, DASH were on top of the most profitable in  2017.

What are your arguments in favor of altcoins?

Bitcoin or altcoins - I do not make a choice between them. I choose both, it's reasonable. Bitcoin is a more stable coin. A good choice among altcoins can bring a good profit to your wallet.

There are so many people who would rather invest in altcoins than in bitcoin. We have seen a lot of persons say they want to trade off their bitcoins for altcoins. Even though I would rather not do that, I do not think it is such a bad thing to do. It is cheaper to get altcoins and that might be one of the reasons why many will choose it over btc because they believe that that way, they might get more profits.

Yes i agree, so far altcoins  are very well known now to newly investors  because its proven by many that it can be fun and profitable investment and the advantage is you can invest in a very small amount of money.

The altcoins are actually better than bitcoins and they are really profitable. The ones I am using right now are going to have a great future. Prg, Eos and Xrp are excellent.

Well because they are pretty amazing. The altcoins like Lamden, Cardano and Power house are so good I can buy hundreds of them and store. They are very profitable.

I think both are great. I am investing in bitcoin + altcoins as both have a great potential and interesting use cases. I can understand some people only invest in altcoin as they're more (high risk = high profit) kinda thing.
