Even if ETF does not get approved, organizations like Winklevoss and CBOE will keep knock SEC's door every year with new proposals and like we saw this time, the hype will definitely help BTC's price to go up in the process. Other than that, there will be many factors like increasing demand, more people joining market, increased mining etc. which will affect the market in a positive way.

The decision from SEC matters because people was too much hyped about it. I think bitcoin doesn't need ETF to be bounced back again.

ETF is going to be a great thing if approved. But it doesn't mean that without it bitcoin is nothing. Bitcoin has its own value so i think bitcoin will come around soon.

the answer is simple if you look at the small but long enough history of bitcoin.
did we have ETFs or SEC or Government or banks approval in the past 9 years of bitcoin that price has been rising?
you see bitcoin was created so that we don't even need any of them but unfortunately it seems like in the past couple of months thanks to ETF hype everyone has forgotten that and are starting to look to SEC to tell them what to do. it is like some people are begging for centralization to enter this world!

I second your statement. It seems like SEC has stolen all the spotlight and we bitcoiners are begging to SEC for approving the ETF. People are not understanding the fact, that we are only pushing towards crypto centralization through this. In long term, nothing will happen apart from centralization where regulatory authorities like SEC will hold the power to manipulate the market accordingn to their wish. That is the least desirable impact for us.

If we really want to see a strong bitcoin, we need to start using it as a currency without hoping for ETFs or mainstream listing. The more mainstream we go with bitcoin, the more centralized the entire system will become.

I don't know why some people think that without ETF bitcoin is going suffer. Before the ETF proposal bitcoin was a safe crypto among all. It's still the same.

Maybe the price will be decreased for a while if ETF doesn’t get approved. But it’s not a big issue for long term. It will decrease for few days only because of the new holder of BTC as they give more importance on these events which are actually not.

SEC rejection might cause the price to decline , but that would only getvrid of the extra vagant part who were only here for SEC, which is actually good. Other than that , I don't think the rejection will affect Bitcoin anyway, because Bitcoin has so much potential, it doesn't actually need any other components support to grow, it grew up a lot and is still growing. Hopefully someday Bitcoin will reach the peak it deserves to reach.

Most crypto enthusiasts are always connected to new surrounding crypto, as soon as the news is negative, crypto take a hit due to panic sellers. Nonetheless crypto always finds its feet after the dump. Yes there might be a dump if ETF is not approved but crypto wi rise to an all time high in no distant time.

I think, that will reduce people's trust in bitcoin. Especially people who are new to bitcoin, I think they will stay away from bitcoin

Bitcoin will survive even if SEC doesn't approve ETF, this is not the question ar all.
Still their approval could have positive effect on Bitcoin and probably would cause price increase, at least temporary. This could also intitiate other positive Bitcoin related movements so the positive impact could be multiple.
I hope for the best but even if they don't approve it, this will not be the end of the world.

STAY AWAY FROM YoBit. Plenty of other great exchanges.  They are a rip off and unprofessional

There may not be need for a bitcoin ETF approvals before we can have a bullish market. When the price of bitcoin was above 20k$,we didn't have an ETF, so we can do without one

The price hike currently does not have anything to do with the approval or rejection of bitcoin ETF. Bitcoin always behave in a way people least expect

What you said is very much true, even last time after ETF rejection market came down little bit but after that it bounced back strongly and created history, so it may be this time also it can react same way or before ETF news is coming the market is getting ready to bounce back and even on ETF rejection comes it wont stop.

the appropriate response is straightforward in the event that you take a gander at the little however the sufficiently long history of bitcoin. did we have ETFs or SEC or Government or banks endorsement in the previous 9 long stretches of bitcoin that cost has been rising?

you see bitcoin was made with the goal that we don't require any of them however shockingly it appears in the recent months because of ETF publicity everybody has overlooked that and are beginning to look to SEC to guide them. it resembles a few people are asking for centralization to enter this world!

ETFs aren't anywhere near being approved as far as I can see, the SEC has been delaying all ETF decisions for as long as they possibly can, before finally rejecting them for some reason or other on the last date, probably because they can't be bothered to do the actual work of proposing legislation for them. However, if and when ETFs are finally added (closer to when the volatility issue and market manipulation is resolved) then we will almost certainly see an astronomical spike in value, possible more than ten fold.

To my concept I don't think that it is most important for the approval of ETF before Bitcoin price increase . But to me it will be a positive affect  in the  Bitcoin market if ETF is approved we can see the market  cap over taking previous years price very easily . I don't think that approval of ETF is a must for Bitcoin price to increase people give much importance even though it is worthless for these kind of news but if it is accepted that will be a positive effect .

Bitcoin can move even with these ETF's that you are waiting to be approved.

Few years of bitcoin's run, early people didn't even thought too much about it.

I think SEC please a major role behind the fluctuations of price of Bitcoin. If SEC did not approve ETF, I doubt that the price of Bitcoin ETF will still be falling. Well, this is just a point of view. Let me know what you think of this.

I have been thinking of it few days ago, when everyone in cryptocurrency space based bitcoin this year bullish market on ETF, but let me ask us what if SEC didn't approve ETF. Can not move the price without it.. I need your discussion on this.
ETF have a big impact in Bitcoin's price but it is not the only one that could affect the market. News like ban or acceptance in a develop country could also affect the price of Bitcoin. Season could also affect it's price.
