Nobody really know what is the root cause of the problem, however, some people believe that the bounty hunter are the one dump while some also believe that the investors dump. Yes investor do dump token when they have been give high percentage of bonus in ICO and they later find out that the team may not deliver. The team should not promise what they can not do, by this dump may be reduced and price may be at ICO price.

Nonsense! if this is really a good project, then selling after ICO is another opportunity for an investor, buy these tokens at a cheaper price!

There has been many arguments about this topic and while some people put a direct blame to bounty hunters who sell their tokens immediately after ICO and yet very few people can really place hands on the real issue.

Pls click this to see a sample of crypto project token distribution which represents vast majority that falls in this category that I would like to point to as the main reason why the price of some token goes below ICO price after launch.
Sample: https://s33.postimg.cc/stsemoukf/IMG_1533191759678.jpg

Usually the capacity of every project team is never the same, some already have what it takes to finance their project from the beginning while some don't and plan to raise all the money from the token sales and while this helps them to achieve their soft and hard cap, it also places other limitations that is not so obvious

Most investors are profit oriented and wants to make their money either short term or long term and so also is the large group of the bounty hunters.

50% of the token supply and even more goes to pre-sale and public sale which gives the team the required amount needed, then 2.5% goes to the community for airdrop+bounty+bonuses which is where the hunters share from. The pre-sale and private sales usually goes for much lower prices with good discounts compared to the public ICO, which is why it's very attractive to the early investors which later turn to early dumpers. Then after launch, those that bought from pre-sale and ICO dumps the large portion of the coin and forces the price down yet they still feels that it's the 2.5% that the hunters share with airdrop and bonuses that made their price to go down.

Feel free to drop your thoughts on this

That is true, bounties might actually hurt the price in the short term - right after the ICO. This however can be managed by either agreeing on locking time of the token or ensuring that the utility of the token ensures trading volumes.
On the other hand I also heared that smart investors also are waiting for these dumps. When bounty hunters drop the tokens and the price goes down, some investors snap them for a very good price. When the market recovers - that seem to be a smart move. But again, this depends on the token.

I have read from the LEDU Token telegram group. That a Token will be stable at least 8 months after launch in exchange.
I agree with you, at least some coins or tokens take a long time to recover and pass the ICO price and it can be months or even years. but not a few coins that continue to run at prices below the ICO price.

No one will be surprised by this. Everybody knows for a long time that not only bounty hunters are to blame for the depreciation. Investors, buy tokens with a discount of 30-50% immediately discard their tokens
Agree with you, not only bounty hunters sell tokens right after ico, there are many early investors, who bought tokens with 50-100% discount, so they sell their coins too.

this happens because some of the bounty hunters and investors only want to gain profits in a fast way without thinking about how the project is run, but in fact many of them made the wrong decisions, when the project was running normally the enthusiasts to buy tokens got bigger so the price getting up.
Once again the blame is on the bounty hunters without even recognizing on whats the current involvement of investors itself when it comes to token price. There are lots of factors that do affect on the ico price of a certain token when it hits on exchangers either token price being set lower by investors itself or by the exchange this hasn't always be the bounty hunters anytime be blamed.

Yes, people often blame the bounty hunter for reducing the value of the coin, but keep in mind that the tokens held by the bounty hunter are usually very small (<3%) and make sure their sales are not affected. Too much to the value of coins that are mostly sold by investors to take profits. Have a fairer judgment for the bounty hunter.

More factor can be effect to price down after launch ..if think investor panic .. ths is example .. if distribution too late , listing in market too late , investor will panic .. so they want your money back .. so if you want join ico .. see their transparancy and their term for ico ..

i think thats the common scenario nowadays, it's because investor and bounty hunters dump their coin to the exchange resulting to over supply. And the law of supply and demand applies. If we want to increase the price after ico we should hold our coin a little bit longer.

In between the investors and bounty hunters, I think the bounty hunters are more guilty in pulling the coin down after ico because their intention from the beginning is to dump the coin at whatever price. They are not concerned about whatever ico price just because they never bought the coin, they believe they freely got the coin and at no matter price they give it out, they will be profiting.

On the other side of the investor, they usually dump after the price keeps going down and most times, at lose because price would have depreciated from their buy.

bounty hunters don't really matter in this case.

don't forget about people who bought in pre-ico with cheaper price and often with big bonus, some even get 100% bonus.
if you wanna blame somebody for dumping, they should be your first suspects Grin

I think this is just a scapegoat by investors doubting the projects they have to follow, and I feel that the prize hunters will hold their tokens until the month, with the reason the bounty hunters have lots of tokens

Large and medium-sized exchanges take too much money for listing coins. The team pays the exchange with tokens of the project and the exchange sells these tokens at any price and of course the coin rate falls very much.

The most commonly reason why new listed tokens are lower than the ICO price once it is listed is the unsuccessful launching of it. There are still some ICO/s that don't meet their goals during heir ICO period that's why they burning some unsold tokens, in this way the price of token/s can be affected when the supply had been change.

Yes, right. The investor purchase bonus given by the platform is now very large, reaching almost 20 percent. the biggest point of the problem is in the investor bonus which when compared to the portion of the bounty hunters who only ate 3 percent, there is still nothing. in my opinion, the decline in the price of the token is indeed a response from the market, the rise, and fall of prices are caused by the transaction activities in the market. this is related to many things and cannot be beaten evenly by assuming from one point of view.

I strongly agree why all this time the prices went down blamed the bounty hunters, while the coin part of the bounty hunters from each ICO was only about 2% of the total outstanding tokens. It's not fair to blame the bounty hunter

You got the idea completely well, I mean it's very unfair to put the blame on the bounty hunters for causing a dump into the market when most of them could not even place their coins on sell in the exchanges because the quantities they received is very low and well below average

Indeed, single bounty hunters do not have a lot of tokens. But the campaign usually has a lot of participants. As most bounty hunters will start selling their tokens immediately after entering the exchange, the supply exceeds the demand causing a drop in price. Of course, bounty hunters are not the only factor reducing the price of tokens.

I think why the token are drop because the bounty hunters are selling their tokens once they listed to the market so the ICO investor are losing some money becaude the price on the market is lower than the price that they purchased on the ICO.
