Wonder if you feel making your code open source would put you on an edge over other competition (while of course making it easier to whitelist on all those malware detecting software.

At some point I guess we will have to do so for many reasons, trust and whitelisting are part of them.
it's a bit early though, we're in the process of finalizing a major update. At some point, pressure will come from the community, hopefully

No ads on Reddit. There are no campaign at all atm.
We wanted to get some more feedback from the community before launching anything.

We've just released the beta version of our desktop bitMoony miner. It can be obtained from the download link at the bottom of this article: https://medium.com/moonify/moony-wallet-beta-announced-looking-for-testers-e854593326df
It looks similar to our modal browser version but it allows users to earn bitMoony much more faster.

Note - The application has been signed with this certificate https://www.comodo.com/business-security/code-signing-certificates/code-signing.php in order to add a layer of trust in it.
Therefore as it is our first app, we don't have enough "application reputation" from Microsoft. Windows Defender SmartScreen® should inform you of this, but the software is perfectly fine to use. Simply click "More info" to run it.
 
The more downloads, the more reputation we get from Microsoft.
So we would need a bit of help here to get more downloads.

Today, we announced a partnership with everdreamsoft that will allow Moonify publishers to collect bitcrystals (BCY) within our ecosystem.

We believe this partnership will be the first in a series to help tokens spread and get more adoption.
