Well, the real shocker for him was when the dissolution of The Federal Reserve was mentioned. Hence the adjusting of his tie and the raising of his eyebrows; his apparent nervousness.

He and other elites are either shareholders of The Federal Reserve or are dependent on its monetarist policy to collect from modified lending practices and subsidies. They want to retain control of our monetary policy. Ending the Fed would remove their power.
They have power because they possess millions/billions of dollars. Ending the Fed would remove that how? Would there be...perhaps...a redistribution of their wealth?
