Alt coins following bitcoin

Can someone tell me why the Alt coins price is affected so much my bitcoin price? I feel.like I'm investing in excellent altcoin projects but due to bitcoin they just seem to plummet........argggggg. Many thanks in advance

Alot money go from btc to alt, and versa, when people feeel FOMO they take money from alt or from btc to invest in alts.

The transaction volume between them is not uniform and of course the transaction volume of bitcoin is larger and the altcoin is smaller. That means that just a large enough amount you can make an altcoin with low transaction volume increasing the value to several times. And of course if you want to make bitcoin more valuable you need a huge amount of money to do that.

The reason is the parity. Altcoin prices are dependent to bitcoin price where an altcoin price is for instance, ETH/BTC. When BTC price (denominator) increase more than the ETH price (numerator), then ETC loses price or vice versa.

What are those excellent altcoins that you invested? before buying those altcoins, what coin you have in able to purchase those altcoins you have? All of these altcoins are pairs with bitcoin in many exchanges so that's how they are affected. For example, with your excellent altcoins.
You need bitcoin to buy those excellent altcoins and when you're ready to sell it, you'll sell it again for bitcoins.

Why buy an altcoin that doesnt have similar security features and created by smaller unknown dev teams ?

Bitcoin is a leading cryptocurrency so market sentiment depends on bitcoin prices. If bitcoin prices go up then altcoins will come down because people sell altcoins to invest in bitcoin and if bitcoin prices go down again altcoin prices will come down even worse because people think that market is crashing but altcoin prices go up only when bitcoin prices stable.

If you have invested in a good project then don't worry about the current market price, just hold them and when the market recovers all good coins mostly recover faster than shit coins.

yeah cause bitcoin is the mother of all the altcoins , so if btc down automaticly all altcoins down too. but if bitcoin
