I've experienced something like that, sending it to a different address so my token is gone. at that time I sent the Zapit token to the ZIPPIE address. then my zapit token is gone. hopefully you are more thorough and do not experience the same thing

Yep, this is happening a lot recenetly. There were some scam thread about the guy who faked his token to get a loan. They use fake token with same name as the collateral and if the lender doesn't know if the collateral actalually only shit token, they will get scammed.

I buy only on the exchange its more secure. Before buying anything much better to make a research on the coin and look on the roadmaps. I was a victim then when I buy without research just by the rumors of the crypto minds now I'm holding a coin that give nothing to me but loses. I can't sell it today because price is very low.
