We are a little group of software makers that have developed a completely new crypto currency from scratch, including its own new protocol. It started as a learning project and had become in a very (and nice) complex piece of software. We are yet in beta-test phase, so we decided to come here to ask for ideas to improve (or even change if we consider it worths) the project.

The project is already fully functional and have been tested many times; we are going to launch the testnet in few days and then the mainnet 2 weeks later. We developed the working protocol first (command line inputs) and now we are adding basic visual components meanwhile we fix and improve it.

Current characteristics:

- Open source.
- PoW (MD5 multi level hash function) -> Miner included in the wallet
- ECDSA secp256k1 signatures.
- 5 minutes blocks.
- Fixed transfers fee (0.01 %)
- No need to donwload the complete blockchain to fully use the wallet. We use AccSumHash to avoid double spent.
- 2 decimals currency (xxx,xx)
- 35 HEX characters (fixed) addresses with 2 control digits (to avoid misstyping) and account number functionality.
- Only windows (7, 8.1 and 10 tested) wallet by now. Other platforms will be available in the near future (as soon as the project is released), as we are creating it very cross compatible.
- Minimal resource use: less than 5 MB RAM usage.

As you can see in the screenshots, there are some work to be done yet in the visual components, but we expect to be ready this month.

privacy features :could you be more specific?
competent dev team : it is important, but once the source code is released, a lot of programmers could improve it also.
strong community: the community raises with the coin popularity.
low total supply : this point is tricky; bitcoin will create 2.100.000.000.000.000 satoshis; when you said "bitcoin", you are talking about 100.000.000 satoshis.; meanwhile, Kreditz will create 2.000.000.000.000 centikreditz, less than 0.1%.

Mainnet launch is posponed few days, probably until october 5th due to new additions to the protocol and the wallet. We are currently runing a beta-test with version 0.180820 trying to find holes in the security, and we want give more time before relase the first official launch. Our contributors are updated about this news and they agree that one week more is a better moment.

Reached +180 twitter followers and +16K wordpress visualizations; Small numbers, but everthing that exists now was small when it started.

We already reached +0.19 BTC with donations and contributors, so we really want say a big thanks to those people who trust in our project and see our idea as original and/or usefull. It is hard to build a successfull crypto project nowadays, specially trying to implement a new concept, but there is no satisfaction on the easy tasks. We are working hard to give back that confidence.

How can I make money with Kreditz?

There are several ways to participate in the project that will allow you to earn Kreditz; it only depends on the degree of involvement you want to have:

1) By social networks: It is the simplest and most comfortable method; just by following our facebook, twitter or this wordpress page, you can participate in the different gift events that the development team will be publishing. All our followers will receive their Kreditz at each event. The purpose of these gift events is to spread the use of kreditz among the largest number of people around the world.
2) By mining: once the launch of the main network of Kreditz is made, anyone can participate in the mining process; for this, you just have to run the wallet on your computer and turn on the miner. By obtaining a block you could win up to 512,000.00 Kreditz, and each day 288 new blocks will be generated!
3) For collaborating: There are many ways in which you can collaborate with the project, such as creating banners, publicizing the project, translating official documentation related to Kreditz … even helping with the development! Each collaboration will be awarded by the development team based on the amount offered for such help.
4) As a contributor to the project: By making a contribution to the start and operation of the project, from 0.01 BTC you will become a contributor, which gives you the following advantages instantaneously:
– You will receive a KDZ amount according to your initial contribution (from Kreditz 1,000,000.00)
– You will participate in the first week of the main network, which will allow you to mine during the first 2016 blocks, each with a reward of 1,024,000.00 Kreidtz.

How do I convert my Kreditz into FIAT (traditional) money?

Through an exchange page, or selling it directly to another user. The ease and speed of monetization is fundamental for the development of the protocol, that is why options directly related to the project are implemented. Additionally, as the project grows, a multitude of service providers and web pages on the Internet will accept payments directly with kreditz, since this is the foundational objective of the protocol and its related services.

Yes, it is. A serious familiar illness keep me out of it some weeks, but now we are all working again.

We already have a next generation blockchain project with a similar name.called credits so i think it would have been better if you could have used a unique and attractive name for this project to avoid confusion.

I think this project has come to a dead end. I have had a private communication with the dev where he promised to release updates several weeks ago but nothing have happened. Everyone can of course be stopped by personal matters like illness in the family. I wish the dev and his wife all the best.

However, I think this coin has some nice features even it is not yet finished. Therefore I'll like to fork the project, rename it and continue the development.

But I think that the development and marketing etc. of a new altcoin is too much for just one person so I would like know if someone here is interested in joining a team or a community?
