Does anybody has a good guess, how much is the actual networkhashrate?

{
    "blocks" : 84231,
    "currentblocksize" : 1000,
    "currentblocktx" : 0,
    "difficulty" : 4096.00000000,

}

"networkhashps" : 10165043 -- that is around 10 MHs

But I have my version patched to support networkhashps. And yesterday it was 12 MHs, before that it was 14... So I guess it is dropping.

BTW there is someone mining at ink,plasr.com pool -- if it is someone from here, please drop that, it is totally useless and a waste of electricity. It is sad to see someone with over 400000 shares and 0 blocks found. Sad

I added support for inkcoin in sph-sgminer. Source code is here: https://github.com/prettyhatemachine/sph-sgminer. Speed is about 45 MH/s for R9 290. Building:

Code:
./autogen.sh
./configure
make

Example usage (assuming solo mining with sgminer connected to wallet):

Code:
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 DISPLAY=:0 ./sgminer -k inkcoin -o 127.0.0.1:6666 -u foo -p bar -I 19 -g 4 -w 64

With GPU miner I think it's possible to escape from the current 4096 difficulty pit (or fall to even deeper pit Cheesy). As usual, no Windows binaries are provided.

INK Deposit/Withdraw great now.

That would explain why INK almost tripled its value (bids went from 160 sat to 430 sat) since yesterday.
As I suspected, TX difficulties (much exaggerated by the occasional doomsayers and FUDmongers on the forum) were keeping the value low.
Now that the coin can move better I expect it will get closer to its true value.
And in 24 hours LazyCoins will launch its beta and will list INK, so I expect even better coin movement and more value increase.

Let the INK flow.  Wink

Later edit: I see buys at 700 sat now. Good.

Thats excellent news!

Where did you see it at 700 sats?

I think its time for a community take over Smiley

Unless the dev wants to come back, update the thread, the wallet and get it listed on other exchanges.

There should be a bounty for tasks as well. I am more than happy to contribute. There arent many good sha-3 coins. People will want it if they knew about it a bit more.

You're willing to contribute as a dev? If so, what changes will you implement? What retargeting logic would you choose, or maybe we could all discuss it here if you like.

P.S.: I don't have the time to engage more in such an endeavour but I could help with a pool at least.

Man, this is just sad. I am currently giving it ~163MH/s and apparently I am the only one left Sad

Do you know what's even more sad? The fact that my blockchain has stalled at 84538 blocks!
I'm (currently) 2 hours behind the latest block, and I can't mine at all until I get there!
The pools also seem to be broken, neither worked for me (stratum error on both).

Couldn't one of us just create an unofficial update with KGW, DGW, or some other difficulty calculation method?
If you did it as an update to Inkcoin, you could revive the coin without the help of the dev!
Of course you'd have to convince NXT-e that this update is legitimate and required...
