Hello!
I am using cgminer 3.7.2 and a R9 290 my cgminer.conf is this:
Quote
{
"pools" : [
{
"url" : "coinotron.com:3339",
"user" : "Valansch.d1",
"pass" : "1"
}
],

"device" : "0",
"intensity" : "20",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "32765",
"gpu-engine" : "1075",
"gpu-fan" : "40-100",
"gpu-memclock" : "1470",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"temp-cutoff" : "99",
"temp-overheat" : "95",
"temp-target" : "90",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "120",
"failover-only" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "1",
"scan-time" : "60",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"scrypt" : true,
"kernel" : "scrypt",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

Whenever i tried to run it it gives me this:
Quote
Maximum buffer memory device 0 supports says 1073741824
 [2014-02-22 15:05:45] Your scrypt settings come to 2097152000
 [2014-02-22 15:05:45] Error -61: clCreateBuffer (padbuffer8), decrease TC or increas
e LG
 [2014-02-22 15:05:45] Failed to init GPU thread 0, disabling device 0
 [2014-02-22 15:05:45] Restarting the GPU from the menu will not fix this.

My system run makes no difference, i tried 4 and 8 GB.

Can anyone help me? Sad

EDIT:
I tried the command free
It gave me this:
Quote
total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached
Mem:       2568836     545068    2023768          0      46168     238860
-/+ buffers/cache:     260040    2308796
Swap:            0          0          0

No the strange thing: I have 1*4GB of ram and 2*2GB. Right now the i have the 4GB plugged in, but changing it does not change the output. Any help? Sad

Error 61 is occurring because of memory issues. Depending on how much RAM your system have, you might need to lower your TC value.
I got 4GB of RAM and the max TC I can use is around 24k~

Also make sure your batch file has the following lines included:
"export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100"
"export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1"

Edit: Also, you might wanna try sgminer.

Sorry i was missing some information:
I do know that TC is the issue, but lowing my TC, can't be the solution since i get less hashrate.
I'm using SMOS linux, and my system should be able to hand 32k TC easyly, but it only detects 2.5 of my 8 GiB.
Any ideas?

Edit: With 2.5 GB of Ram i can support a TC of 15k
