Western ICO Projects VS Chinese ICO Projects

What are peoples thoughts on Western ICO projects VS Chinese ICO projects, are there any general guidelines to go by or is the preference totally random project by project. which ones have higher risk and from a return perspective which is more favorable under the current market climate?

If I were to come up with an analysis on Historical Chinese VS Western Projects and Coins from a performance perspective, would anybody be interested? after all, numbers don't lie and hype.

Most of the time, ICO projects from China are more like hype, so I don't like these projects, even though most of the time they have a good increase.
However, most of the time, there is positive development from the west, so I am more optimistic.

For me personally I have had all my major wins with American projects.  The Chinese projects I have been part of have all failed to materialize by the end of the ICO.  The sample size is somewhat small (about 15 ICO's) So its not definitive.

Western is the best way to gain more supporters, while Chinese is the best way to gain more assets value because the people of the Chinese do love trading and vise versa.

I think need to check the team behind the project and their past experience whether they can able to finish the project as they planned. If an already known member who has done some work in other coin development may give more confidence to invest. I got success in both and also lost some money in both. NEO is one of my best coins gave me a lot of profit.

China based ICOs are relatively less avdertised and covered by regular media. It's also much more difficult to acess information about the project even they offer ICO sites and whitepaper in english. They are not even trying hard to get Western investors as they are pretty much sure about hitting the cap from east asian investors itself.

East Asian ICO are much more localized. We might not even understand what they ought to do but such things are perfectly normal in those countries. Western ICO are concentrated towards general and broader objectives.

I think that more and more ICO projects are coming from China on the NEO platform, and they are more and more quality and appreciated by users and investors. Because most of the projects after the floor are publicly received and exchanged much, it is very valuable if hold. I think the NEO foundation is very strict in its policy when selecting ICOs and ICO projects very seriously.

Western ICO's are very careful of reputation and sanctions as they have keep advancing the project and deliver. Chinese ICO's on the other hand are mostly driven by hype and depending on the team behind the project, most of the times they do not deliver. There's been a lot of abandoned projects from that end. So again, it depends on the team.
