I've seen numerous clients grumbling about being misled by ICO extends a large portion of them are new financial specialists which presumably going to be the up and coming age of speculators in digital money industry. I've been here in the digital currency industry for multi year and I've put into various activities and perceived how they vanish in the thin air, so to evade this I need to share to you my criteria on picking the privilege ICO or venture to put resources into.

This isn't ensured yet perhaps in some point it might help you atleast to decrease the likelihood on getting defrauded by ICO's, the rundown underneath are my own criteria how I pick Project to contribute with utilizing bitcoin or other cryptographic money:

Check the Background of the group (If the group didn't give information about every individual from the group, for example, name past ventures, foundation, and so on. There's a probability that they will simply flee with your cash in the event that they didn't give data's about their group.)

Read their whitepaper and look if it's extremely worth to contribute with, their idea, and so on. (This is critical to recognize what the venture is about.)

Check the Social media accounts, If you think that its extremely fascinating adequate. (Join their message bunch so as to be refreshed.)
Check the Projects polished methodology (How they handle clients, control cheats, and so forth.)
Take after their Roadmap and other specialized points of interest and check whether they meet it on time.
Search for the undertakings network and check whether the network is dynamic.
Search for unique evidence and approval.

Do your own particular research about the undertaking, for example, survey about the ventures or you can likewise check the activities ANN string to see remarks who's concur/differ or the networks thought regarding the task in light of the fact that ANN strings resembles an open discussion where you can ask, give bits of knowledge, and so forth.

This point related articles may enable you to don't hesitate to check:

NOTE: Investment is one of the least secure approach to win cash. Contribute just what you can bear to lose, in speculation there's solitary two conceivable result it's possibly you will procure or you will learn. Gain from your errors.

Much the same as what I've said this means are my own means on picking ICO/Projects in where I will put resources into. This may not encourage you but rather I trust you'll learn no less than a little in my small sharing. Have incredible day each one, ciao.

I really appreciate your effort for putting this points together. But sadly, it's easy to say than to execute. Now the scammers have also evolved their techniques. They plan a lot in advance so it has become very hard to spot a fake social media profile. The attributes mentioned in the website can be sourced from a professional content writer which again becomes very tough to spot any anamolies.

It is little easier to spot a fake ICO projects through their twitter activities. I have seen a lot of ICO projects those who tweet about only their projects with a lot of jargons and copied text from their website. Only a handful of them post about their real pictures and their team members. Once you see an ICO is continuously posting about their participation in various crypto summits and their tours and sales pitches, you can at least trust that they are not fake and genuinely trying to get better attention.

I usually use this determination factor before joining any bounty program.

This is very good information, especially for newbies. I remember when i first discovered crypto and ICO's, i was just randomly investing in a lot of ICO's just because they sounded good. Unfortunately this wasn't enough, you need to really inform yourself as much as you can before you make an investment.

When investing in ICO projects you often worry will be fooled. Or you have been tricked so you do not want to continue investing in ICO projects. Have been cheated once you should experience not to be fooled twice. Consider who that investment, how capital and how to develop?

Not being scammed is not an achievement but a struggle every time. Scams though preventable in most cases sometimes comes in never predicted form. One of the key for not being scammed is patience. Don't take decisions in a hurry. Don't go after instant profit.

This post will be a lot helpful for the newbies here. We all know the red flags, we all are aware of the do's and don'ts, but still we fall prey for the trap. The key is to not be greedy. It is greed that blinds us from being sensible. Never go for the amount of the money, but go for the demand of the coin instead.

Scammers are there no matter what, though there will also be good quality ICOs to invest on, with legit team biuld ups, some users will still be losing money and going hayware on their investments. There are always prepared and aware scammers just as prepared and aware users are.

There has been various ICOs with legit team, roadmap and whitepaper; they also had huge community compares to others but still vanished with all the investors' money. Though good ICOs can be identified by following the steps you mentioned but scammers will come prepared with everything as they have understand that people are more aware now.

I truly value your exertion for assembling this focuses. Yet, unfortunately, it's anything but difficult for the state than to execute. Presently the con artists have additionally developed their methods. They design a great deal ahead of time so it has turned out to be difficult to detect fake profiles from social media.

Good observation. It takes times and efforts to do research about a project. But it is worthy to do because it can make us safe from online fraud projects.

Very useful information. yeah, being scammed by the ICOs or bounties that spent our money or energy or time will be very weird and bad. I also felt that scam. however now, we must be able to avoid the scams by learning and analyzing more about the ICO or bounties that we are going to participate in. This consideration and analysis are very important and crucial to do. Your information is also very useful for us. Thanks so much.

That is true as innovation in technology happens very often, scammers and hackers adapt to security measures that any company and forum does. Also even though a project is very questionable because of these warning signs though they are legit it is very hard to distinguish as they are the same with the scammers. The thing that users need: self regulation.
