how long does it take for a transaction to show? i just discovered a wallet on an old pc that had 9.4 million in them. i sent them to cryptsy but the cryptsy address (which i just made prior to sending) and the transaction id are not showing on the kittehcoin block explorer. ok im just worried because its like 3 btc worth! . the address KTRwMkot9AudimGetNcsiA8jbXykf6jWfe doesnt even show in the block explorer. so it seemed very stange.  the wallet just doesnt let you send to addresses that dont exist right??

Did you update the wallet first? Is it showing the new white kitty logo or the smoking grey kitty? Or worse, the cross-eyed kitty in the red ball?

I think it would be a very good idea to close that wallet right now if it's not the latest wallet. If it's synced it may be too late.

i just downloaded the newest wallet and it is syncing now, but since the balance was in my confirmed i sent it.  its the wallet with smoking kitteh with purple smoke. silver or grey looking coin around it.

first the transaction details said brodcast through 1 node,  now they say broadcast through 8 nodes   still no confirms though.

Edit: close down the wallet if it isn't synced and delete the entire blockchain (back up your wallet.dat). Then re-download it. You may end up on the wrong fork.

Yeah, that's the earliest wallet. I think it should be ok but honestly I'm not sure how it works. The blockchain was forked since that client you see. All coins pre-fork are safe, and hopefully if you're now on the correct blockchain it will send your coins to the correct blockchain.

I'm not entirely sure how sending coins quite works. I mean if it sends them after syncing I think you'll be fine.

Close it down asap. You need to back up your wallet (IMPORTANT) then re-download the blockchain from the start. Back up your wallet and delete everything in the kittehcoin roaming data folder except for wallet.dat and peers.dat. Then restart wallet. If you downloaded too much of the old blockchain you may be on the fork right now and if the coins go to that they'll be lost.

hmm i did that but didnt keep the peers.dat  but did keep the wallet.dat  then deleted the entire appdata directory then reopened the client. it showed zero. then copied the old wallet.dat back into the roaming and reopened the client. now it shows just as before, with the 9,414,168 MEOW sent to cryptsy address.

please pray the the kitteh gods it will go through. i need this btc bad!

i closed that wallet after reading what you said again.

i didnt realize that there was a relaunch thread. im downloading THAT wallet now. then gonna save my wallet.dat and delete the roaming then open the new relaunch wallet and let it sync. that should do the trick.

ok its redownloading the entire blockchain. it shows my transaction in my new white kat chinese waving thing wallet and is syncing now. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go through kittehcoin!
