Is it possible to change 1 or 2 algorithm in x16r and "re-invent" another x16r?

And, what kind of algorithms in x16r are? All SHA3? Can I substitute 1 algorithm, e.g. bmw to Equihash in x16r?

seems the algorithms in x16r are all SHA3
