It wouldn't actually surprise me if he did at this point. Atlas has woven himself a worldview that makes him feel special. That he's a part of this great big thing with bitcoins, ushering in the future with his brilliant ideas. That it obviously isn't working and all his ideas fail miserably isn't a flaw of bitcoin or himself, so it must be something else.

No, I have not chosen my world view in the name of any particular feeling. I don't feel grand nor superior to anything in this world. I don't even find myself having the need to blame anything nor any faults of my own to place upon others and the world itself. The concepts you have placed upon me are completely foreign to me, if anything.

So far he's blamed SA, the government and masons.

I don't recall blaming you gentlemen for anything. You're being your lovely selves and I couldn't ask for anything more. Yes, I blame government and its tyrannical benefactors for its direct agression against the people but that is another argument for another time. The fact is if I fail and somehow feel shame in said failure, I would not see any value to be gained by blaming the entire incident on another entity. Resentment and disdain have never been traits of mine if that is not clear already.

In most cases, I have only had the poor habit of blaming myself in absolute shame for the terrible things that happen to people and myself.

He's so invested in his security blanket that he cannot back down on any part of it or it will all come crumbing down around his feet and he will be left with only the brutal reality of his own pathetic stupidity and the parade of failures he has left behind him.

Yes, yes your psycho-analysis is so very accurate. There is no way I could live in a world that is not subject to an international banking cartel for it would mean my fringe point-of-view would be invalid and thus make me feel inferior. Oh how I would weep. I would no longer feel special. It's not like I actually care about the people of this world or anything. It's not like I feel the poverty and war that aggresses against the human species could be helped if we had a more decentralized political system. Yes, it's actually because I am a smug barely self-aware hipster. The happiness that would exist in a free society would be nothing to me. Haha.

Honestly, what do you think I live for? I am not even insulted. I'm just astonished by your perception.

He will have to face that bitcoins are a fool's dream. That he is not the next captain of industry. That his 'great ideas' are trite and unworkable.

We'll know the fate of Bitcoin all in good time. I'll leave that contention up to science. Whether my ideas are great or workable is of no relevance to me. The real pleasure comes from me figuring that out on my own. After seeing your previous fallible contentions, the authority of your word comes into question; your wisdom cannot decipher whether my ideas are truly workable or not.

And the fact that he is not special.

What is "special" again? The fact is I hold a valuable spot in a lot of people's lives. The degree of my value isn't relevant. I am happy with my life and others are glad I am here. That's special enough to me. Heh.

So it only remains to be seen who he blames next.

Again, I've never played the blame game. I find it lacking in value.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

You have built a worldview for yourself that appears to be very Randian in nature with a bit of good old-fashioned libertarian-conspiracy-theory mixed in.

Atlas is just the most precocious child, it's the best. He's like the ideal result of helicopter parenting, at first glance seems relatively well-mannered and intelligent...

I don't recall a single time my mother or my father went out of their way to make sure I never fell down. Most of my school days went by with neglected homework and a lack of lunch money. I have been left to all of my obligations mostly alone.

...but as soon as you pay attention has an entitlement complex on top of comical classism and probable racism.

Haha. This doesn't even have any basis. I don't feel entitled to anything. I mean, I jokingly threaten my parents to throw me out. I've never related to classism nor racism. I don't see people in collectives. I see them as individuals.

Oh and just bugfuck crazy because he doesn't understand how anything works and just assumes more malicious bugfuck crazy people wouldn't possibly lie to him, and he could see through it easily if they did.
He probably could have been a worthwhile person if, well, everything was different.

Haha, okay. This is implying I blindly follow people and that I don't see through to ulterior motives. I am not even going to bother with the last statement.

oh and having been incarcerated hahaha man that dude would get hosed up even in county, much less a good old fashoned Angola type prison, him saying he ould be comfortable in prison either shows just how distanced he is from reality, or he's subtly trying to come out of the closet. or maybe he never has to eat and survives on buttcoins and pretention only

The fact is if I ended up in prison -- which isn't going to open -- I would choose to become accepting of the situation. I try to be resilient. That's all I meant.

You are the best. You are like every 17-year-old objectivist/libertarian/shut-in stereotype rolled into one.

Either Immanuel is too insecure and cares WAY too much about what others think about him, or the SomethingAwful gang is actually NOT a bunch of totally irrelevant, ignorant, infantile loosers. Or he's just bored enough to waste time on their crap. Personally I wouldn't.

I do wonder, the SA gang seems to be experts at the Captain of Industry thing. Wonder if they can help me build a railroad?...

Someone in Ask/Tell or BFC probably could (I'm only half-joking - those forums of full of people with both general and very specific expertise).

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Hmm, well, Rothchild was going to give us $6,000,000,000 to build a super-high-speed transport rail line in Israel/Gaza, but then the Arab Spring thing happened, and they decided to hold onto the money and maybe invest it in rebuilding those countries instead. So, if anyone has at least $2,500,000,000 for me to borrow to start with, I promise I can make the money back for you, probably two-fold even, within 5 years.

Anyone want to wager how long it is until someone says something against him on Steam/XBL/PSN and he makes another thread with rebuttals?

In my experience, he doesn't need reasons to start new threads.  It's like he has a quota of threads to start each month.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Sounds like a good time to start a thread in support of Universal Health care for the World, Paid for by 100% taxation of corporate profits and personal income, in which the IMF and the Federal Reserve become the de-facto tax collectors of the world to not only pay for the Single payer health system, but to also give everyone a free home and fluoridate the air.

Should be able to get the remaining 361 posts within an hour.

One thing I've learned from spending a decade online is to never, ever discuss healthcare with those who live in the US.

Atlas, what happened to your effort of trying to write in simple English? I know it can be difficult but you shouldn't give up this soon. Keep trying and good luck.

Is there any chance of registering for an account on SomethingAwful and responding there, rather than spamming this forum with egocentric and boring 17 year old emo crap? Thanks.

tl;dr: Nobody is interested in your desperate attempts at seeking attention.

He got banned for breaking the rules. He has the ability and funds to re-register (He has at least $100USD in BTC that he kept when he reneged on last night's bet). He should take his crap there.

I doubt he'd last long even if he confined his posting to e/n - and that's intended for emo bullshit.
