Question on sgminer

I get a "GPU 1 went IDLE, sgminer will now exit" type of error in sgminer 4.0.0, windows 8.1, catalyst 13.12. I am trying to set it up with 3 (have 6) r9 290x tri-x cards. what may be the cause?
