If anyone could help that would be great.

it seems not real to be able to buy at that price when every other exchange is double that.

Depositing dollars or bitcoins at Mt. Gox is a gamble. You cannot withdraw anything from Mt Gox currently, and many people believe there is a good chance that you will never be able withdraw anything.

You should avoid mt.gox right now ....

There is arbitrage between exchange, so if you find a website with a huge gap on price, it is probably not a good idea to use it

no, as I said on an earlier thread don't trade on mtgox, they have already lost our trust which makes them most likely unlegible to regain it and they can simply take your USD and run because their business is ruined and they have no profit with paying you..

Gox is all but dead now.

Coinbase is covering Gox costumers:
"In order to re-establish the trust squandered by the failings of Mt. Gox, responsible bitcoin exchanges are working together and are committed to the future of bitcoin and the security of all customer funds."

Gox is all but dead now.

What? Apparently you didn't read it. It just says that Coinbase (and others) are not like Mt. Gox. Nothing more.

Coinbase is covering Gox costumers:
"In order to re-establish the trust squandered by the failings of Mt. Gox, responsible bitcoin exchanges are working together and are committed to the future of bitcoin and the security of all customer funds."

The post doesn't say anything about Coinbase "covering" Gox customers (whatever that means). They are talking about Coinbase customers.

The original article (they revised it minutes after posting) had confirmed MtGox's insolvency.  They're done.

You are not able to buy bitcoin there anymore. Avoid websites with a huge gap on price

If you have any btc now, I would suggest put them in cold storage and lay low for a while. When their price goes up and there is some exchange that is okey then go for it.
