What do you mean by HODL?

The term HOLD refers to people who accumulate cryptocurrency and do not sell it under any circumstances. In the long term, they certainly benefit compared to those who sold their assets in the fall of the market.

HODL in use by traders who will hold that come fall and waited for the price climb back someday, whether it’s when. I read in an article that has its own meaning, Namely HODL “ Hold On for Dear Life”.

If you're a newbie you will get confused and maybe you can search it in google what does it mean.  In the world of crypto HODL means to hold or holding.  If you want a big profit you need to invest more time and more patience not only the money but you must HODL it and wait for the time to pump then that's the right time to sell.

For real I would really want to know why it's HODL and not HOLD,  I saw the word the first time and I was a bit confused..  Hahahahaha,  terms in Crypto world tho..  Will read other replies to know more about the reply.
