i don't think so because there is no assurance that the altcoins will rise up its price. but if you are going to but bitcoin while the price is low, i think that will become profitable. just hold it and sell it if the price goes up.

Unfortunately I couldnt do this timing issue correctly, sometimes selling altcoins and waiting at bitcoin, in few weeks they are rising.
