bulanula
keeping overpayment error for advertisement

22,5 BTC

Total BS. Attempt to discredit and insult my professionalism by a couple of trolls on BTC-E chat.

We had a informal deal for 2.5 BTC for my signature space for 1 month.

He claims he sent me by "accident" 25 BTC instead. No way to verify this claim. For all I know this could be from my aunt for Easter etc.

No overpayment at all.

Since the deal was 2.5 BTC for a month and he SUPPOSEDLY sent me 25 BTC ( could not verify it was really him / anyone can use PhotoShop ) I decided to do the right thing and give him 10 months ( as paid ) and also a bonus 2 months for a total of a year renting out my signature space.

I also wasted 2 hours talking to him about a solution in BTC-E chat ( without compensation from him at all ).

He made a mistake and he wants me to pay for it Huh

BTC payment is irreversible. That is the whole point otherwise I would be using USD. There are no "mistakes" and "accidents" in BTC; just like in life if you screw up you face up to the fact and move on. Mistakes costs. And now I have to pay for it Shocked

I offered him all I could but I will not refund because it defeats the point of BTC. I never forced him to give me 25 BTC at all. I never held a gun to his head. All I asked is 2.5 BTC for my signature ad space for a month. He sends me 1 million BTC by "mistake" then who is the one to blame ?

Suddenly I see 25 BTC coming and he says I am scammer. If I was scammer I would have taken the BTC ( they are still here and not moved by me http://blockchain.info/address/1Bu1424Lf7y3Jz9p4ZyCo2mRSQDwdaXrHa ) and gone off this forum and also not spent 2 hours trying to get some cooperation from him in BTC-E chatroom and work out a solution. I would not scam for 22 BTC Cheesy

You can see the signature is present below in red so I kept my end of the deal.

Don't understand what all the fuss is about really ...

We agreed informally 2.5 BTC for 1 month. I see 25 BTC coming in. He claims it was his mistake. I do my best offer of 10 months ( paid ) + 2 months ( bonus ) for a total of 1 year and also 2 hours BTC-E support talking to him about solution.

TBH all I agreed to was 1 month of space in my signature on this forum for 2.5 BTC. He sends me 25 BTC "by mistake" it is his problem not mine. I could do just one month and that is that but I am trying to be fair and work out a solution. He comes in public BTC-E chat calls me a scammer after I spent 2 hours trying to see a solution.

Just more proof he is trying to deface my image and again publicly calls me a liar, thief, scammer, conman ( insulting ) after HE made the mistake and I tried my best condition to fix it Huh

He drags other people I worked with into this when the problem clearly is between me and him.

My response :

"It would be nice if he tried and cooperate with me in regards to this matter.

Instead he goes on BTC-E screaming "scammer", insulting me and trying
to make me look like a thief.

He now goes on the forum (
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483.180 ) again trying to look
like a victim and make me look a fool.

Please read my full post on that thread.

I wasted 2 hours of my time trying to resolve this issue yet I am the
one that is repeatedly called a scammer.

I never scammed anyone and won't scam anyone for a couple of BTC.

He claims 25 BTC were sent by mistake. This could be anyone sending me BTC.

Even if he proves that he did indeed sent ( through PhotoShop ) then I
believe it goes against all the BTC principles.

Payments are not meant to be reversed. I did not force him to give me
anything. He makes a mistake.

In my job and in life if I make a mistake I get fired or worse. There
is no "going back" just like in BTC.

I am not to profit from his mistake here but I think my deal was fair.

We agreed initially 2.5 BTC = 1 month.

I get sent 25 BTC then I decide to give him 10 months + 2 months bonus
( total 1 year ) and also 2 hours of my time trying to resolve the
issue.

This is the best I can do in the circumstances, especially after he
did these unprofessional steps towards me ...

I feel sorry for him but maybe this will teach him a lesson so that
next time he is more careful.

I don't have to do a refund because he makes mistakes. Especially
after he takes it out on me publicly and calls me a liar, thief,
scammer in loads of places."

After :

-spending 2 hours on BTC-E trying to resolve it
-staying up late till midnight
-insulting me publicly here and on BTC-E ( liar, thief, scammer )
-involving some other acquaintances of mine ( that have absolutely no connection with this deal )
-giving him my best offer with 2 months added free
-all this because of HIS mistake and he takes it out on me
-involving sockpuppets like karl1982 and pigeons to downrate me and insult me publicly
-me putting the ad up as I was supposed to

I really don't know what exactly to believe ...

I did not demand anything from you but 2.5 BTC for 1 month which you agreed. You now claim to have sent "by mistake" 25 BTC to me and I gave you 10 months + 2 months bonus.

It was not me that forced you to sent me 1 million BTCs etc. Your mistake you gotta learn to face up to it.

I did my best to compensate but I won't give refund after you call me a thief, scammer, liar etc. and publicly make an idiot of me ...

I did give you what you paid for in the end, the ad is there and will be there for 1 year since 8 April 2012 till 8 April 2013.

You have the power to rectify the problem.

You choose not to rectify the problem.

You admit that there is potentially even a small chance that the payment is from him.

You refuse to refund it.

This is called bad faith.

Stop posting your bullshit opinions and stop thinking anyone cares about how you think. Paste the conversation (in a different thread) where you actually agreed to how much to charge him and how long to charge him, then let someone else verify if he actually sent it. If he is lying, he is losing a lot of reputation for his business. If he is telling the truth, you're petty.

Take it a new thread though, christ.

Why is it that you can't give him back the 22.5BTC? Maybe I TL;DR'd the shit out of this, but it looks like this classic example that happens to me daily;

Go into Wendy's
"I'd like a bacon 99'r, please"
"That'll be $.99, please"
-pay with $100 dollar bill-
Counter-jockey hands me a crate full of bacon-99'rs (100 of them, exactly)
"Sorry, sir. I know you asked for change, but this is the best I can do. Here's 100 burgers."
I protest.
"Sir, how dare you. I'm going to call the police if you don't accept this deal."

Classic. Happens every time.

Donations are welcome!

Either take your little hissy fit to a thread where you two can act the fool all by yourselves, or go get a room and make up. bully- you are wrong in this, smartie you are acting waaay too much like a drama princess. Grow up and end this sorry bullshit, both of you do the right thing and stop whining in public. Nobody wants to hear it, and you are both embarrassing yourselves with this juvenile trash.

You missed this post where bulanula mentioned that transaction. Roll Eyes

bulanula
keeping overpayment error for advertisement

22,5 BTC

Just because someone can't claw back their money through a bank or credit card company, doesn't preclude people from behaving civilly. It's just no one can strong arm you into obeying any rules. The way some people talk, they are the type who would snatch $20 they saw fall from a persons pocket and think "finders keepers, should have kept a better eye on your money sucker." No bitcoin cops to do anything to you but you're still being a massive jerk-off.

I purchased some Magic: the Gathering Online tickets from Alarmoz (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=55563) a few days ago and just today got contacted by Wizards about the tickets being stolen and my account being under investigation.  I suspect they will take the tickets back from me.

Perhaps a short review of what his personality was all about here before investing? All posts have been about selling easily stolen online deliveries or buying btc for reversible PayPal. What did you expect?

Hey, think positive, at least his constant and annoying bump bump bump posts are now obsolete. Tongue

I didn't really care to check since he gave first and as far as I knew, MTGO tickets were irreversible.  Apparently they are not, however, after discussing with the Wizards support, they're going to let me keep the tickets.  His MTGO id was 'cyntrez', but I suspect he is banned by now.

Looks like he is back, bumping his threads with impunity.
