Crypto or No Relationship? New Survey Shows 75% of Millennials Prefer a Partner with Cryptocurrency Knowledge

Nearly 75% of the youth population are more likely to choose a partner with knowledge about the cryptocurrency industry, according to a new report by crypto trading website, Creditcoin.com.

The study revealed that 48% of males and 26% of females of the millennial generation prefer a romantic partner that has knowledge in the cryptocurrency field.

2017 saw a rush of capital into the cryptocurrency markets. The father of all cryptocurrencies Bitcoin appreciated more than 1900% in 2017, taking the lot of the altcoins along in the Bull Run. The surge sparked a lot of interest as the adoption rate of cryptocurrencies and the underlying technology, Blockchain, also increased significantly.

Although Bitcoin has suffered huge correction since the beginning of 2018, interest in the cryptocurrency market is not declining as a lot of new players are entering the space. And millennials are keeping the frenzy booming.

As quoted from the Report:

“For Millennials the soaring performance of Bitcoin – followed by an almost equally profound correction – holds more intrigue than the prospect of steady growth in house prices.”

Totally correct and perhaps more than 75% of youth know about our world but unfortunately the lack of official adaptation make most of them to afraid getting involve by 100 % from their funds.

Hope we will see government allow their people to use crpytocurrency without intervention .

Because it's the currency of young people who prefer freedom over mortgage. While older people who went through this whole financial struggle of getting a low paid job, renting a flat, then finally being able to get a house and paying off that house for 20+ years, tend to think that this is how life should be, the younger generation sees them struggle and wants a better life. Life where work is taking only a couple hours a day and you don't have to ask the bank for permission to use your money.

These percentages are good and its good that millennials do consider out these thing but on the sentences quoted above.I doubt that this isn't the case do happen even though they do know bitcoins existence and benefits they can really took much effect when it comes to demand yet those persons aren't big investors. They might be interested but wont really put any major effect when it comes to demand but still a much better thing rather than they do neglect bitcoin at all and its no surprising thing that young minds as of these days would be easily attracted on money making thing.

I do not think the Millennium Generation is interested in financial freedom and the decentralized economy compared to profits.

 - Most people started using Bitcoin because it was an easy way to make profits without effort.
 - Bitcoin has existed since 2009, but its popularity increased in 2017 due to the surge in price.
 - The rise of bitcoin paved the way for those who can’t buy it to buy altcoins hoping to become like a bitcoin someday.

For this study, it comes from an unknown site[1] without citing sources, so it does not count.
I did research and only found this report.[2]

Bitcoin over bitches.

I thought this was going to be about how people have been choosing girlfriends over bitcoin haha. I'm pretty sure 99% of the women I know have zero knowledge of bitcoin before I mention it (and I don't think it's exactly a great chat up line), and as such won't care whether someone has knowledge of bitcoin or not.

I don't think this is the case at all. How does bitcoin free you from getting a mortgage? Besides, bitcoin isn't just a magical money making machine. If people bought in at $20k then they'd have lost half of their money as it stands. You could argue your money would have been safer in the bank the past six months.

I'm skeptical of the source and methodology. I think the sentiment is right, but this sounds inflated. "48% of males?" Come on now...

But where is their money going to come from? As a millennial, I observe stagnant wages and declining benefits (replaced by contract jobs). What's Bitcoin got to do with only working a couple hours a day? Is that because we're assuming 1 BTC will be worth millions of USD someday?

Benefits should in fact be declining as this is a sign of a more healthy economy that steers away from all this socialist nonsense. Obamacare and the European migration crisis are prime examples of such nonsense.
This working a couple hours a day, preferably from home, is the new trend among young people. Nobody wants to spend whole day sitting at a desk in a crowded room. People are looking for ways of making money that did not exist 20 years ago. Some examples? Live streamers, youtubers, social media influencers, crypto advertisers, professional computer gamers. I believe cryptocurrencies are and will be popular among these people regardless of whether it reaches 1 million or not.

It bodes well for the future of cryptocurrency to see Millennials being so enthusiastic about it!

Alternatively you can just introduce your new partner to cryptocurrency instead of dismissing the potential because they don't know about it (just a thought)

Benefits should in fact be declining as this is a sign of a more healthy economy that steers away from all this socialist nonsense. Obamacare and the European migration crisis are prime examples of such nonsense.

I guess there is some confusion about definitions. Benefits refers to employer-provided incentives (health insurance, retirement contributions, etc.) that employers use to incentivize employees and reduce turnover. There is nothing "socialistic" about them; they are essentially value added by employers on top of wages paid. Nothing to do with government.

The point is that as employer-provided benefits become a thing of the past, effective wages decline.

This working a couple hours a day, preferably from home, is the new trend among young people. Nobody wants to spend whole day sitting at a desk in a crowded room. I agree, the employment landscape is rapidly changing. However, I don't believe those occupations (on average) pay middle class incomes in developed economies, and certainly not at 2 hours a day. What I'm seeing in the United States is a new generation of adults who either live with their parents or depend on their parents for income. Undecided

I agree with this. Why not just introduce your partner to cryptocurrency so that you will understand each other. You may be able to find a partner that would be interested in cryptocurrency and you agree with it but in other things you will always have misunderstandings so it is not good at all. Better find someone you agree with and then if that person do not know about cryptocurrency then introduce it to him/her and who knows he/she will end up liking it and may become better than you eventually.

There is no way this survey is real. Even the members and traders here in our forum does not really have enough knowledge in crypto. And also nobody would want their partner to be so much focused in cryptocurrencies because it will definitely kill their realtionship.
