Its still the single most effective way to mine Bitcoin though.

As long as DOGE price is above 150 (currently 195) and difficulty is around 1,000 ... you can generate 3+ BTC per month with a simple at-home setup of three scrypt mining rigs  (8200 k/hs).

Doge will be a sensefull investment. When it goes below 30 satoshi. It will happen if at least one big bagholder dumps his holdings. Now its all about waiting who will leave the ship first. This one will save his value, other bagholders will get nothing.

If your goal is to make profit then probably no! If your goal is to support a altcoin then yes!
