im using gui miner w/ slush's pool, question. Edited, hmm...?

im am a complete noob an had to watch a video tutorial to get it to work....

I had onehit of 35 then it went to 0.002 now it shows a hit but no coins!?

What should I do
 
Any advice or help for a complete noob?

I jut got a a second share accepted and its not showing on the site http://mining.bitcoin.cz

Am I making mistakes already , please help I just need some answer, thank you

I would say that i didnt like Slush's pool. It didnt pay quite as much or as regular as btcguild.

Let me take a shot at this:

You are using GUIminer using a video card to mine BTC via Slush's pool and you are not seeing what you expect on the pool stats?

Ok first mining BTC with video cards is long past it isn't profitable and uses WAY more electricity than the value of the BTC it produces as the difficulty is too high.  Secondly the stats in GUIminer are probably closer to the work your card is actually doing as the pool stats do not update real time.

Quit mining BTC with a video card and post what kind of card it is as it "may" be profitable for it to mine scrypt coins.
