There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Why don't you just build on a Windows VM?

Thank you, our developer is trying it out now. He was having issues with the boost libraries earlier from what I understood, but he said he understands and thank you so much!

Hey, thanks for the zip. When I try to run it says I am missing a dll though?

libcc_s_sjlj-1.dll

We found this snippit

You have to use -static-libgcc while compiling with mingw’s g++ to elemenate the dependacy on LIBGCC_S_SJLJ-1.DLL. You can do that by:
Qt Code: Switch view
QMAKE_LFLAGS += -static-libgcc

from here
http://www.qtcentre.org/threads/39639-MinGW-w64-dependency-on-LIBGCC_S_SJLJ-1-DLL

Thank you so much for the help so far! =)
