What's up with BCN (Bytecoin)

I like this coin, gave birth to Monero so it cannot be bad, plus the team is actively supporting it.

But problem, all coins are almost been mined +180 Billions of them. That's a lot of coin. Now this month they are supposed to do an hard fork to support POS so that the coin continue to exist without mining.

What do you think about the future of this coin, based on these facts?
