I'm posting this for my girlfriend who is an artist. She made two beautiful abstract bitcoin paintings that belong together. She doesn't have any bitcoins yet, but she'd like to give this a try. If this works, she will make more bitcoin paintings. Let's show her what the bitcoin community can do Smiley Here are some photos of the paintings:

The dimensions are: 40x50cm each
The materials that were used are: acrylic paint on a canvas on a wooden frame with a thickness of 1cm

The paintings are sold together. Bidding starts at €80 and the price excludes shipping. Payments in bitcoin are preferred. When there's more demand she can make more paintings (but it's limited because making them costs a lot of time).

Hi elianite,

She's still working on her portfolio website but she expects to have it online soon. We're currently trying to figure out the precise shipping costs for international shipment. I'll update later when I know the exact price Smiley

I am interested in the other works, too (not quite sure why paintings sold for bitcoins need to have the BTC symbol painted on them).

True, of course she can make other works without the Bitcoin symbol Smiley It was just a little tribute to bitcoin. Feel free to make requests though!

Alright, this would be the shipping costs:

Netherlands:
€6,75

EUR1 (western/northern europe):
€9,00

EUR2 (southern europe):
€11,00

EUR3 (eastern europe):
€12,00

Worldwide:
€18,00

If you want a track & trace code the costs will be €4~€8 higher.

She will be painting again this weekend, so feel free to make any requests. If you want something without the Bitcoin logo, just let me know and tell me what you'd like. If you like what she made you can buy it, if not, no problem Smiley

I'll offer .25 BTC including shipping to the US. Escrow will be used and I will pay the escrow fee.

I'd love to have this in my office. Smiley

Hope you won't mind a little threadjacking now that the paintings seem to be sold... How did you get that canvas effect on the bedroom wall? I really like that. Did you use a slightly darker paint for stripes, or is that really just from brushing at a rotated angle?

I'll have to ask my girlfriend about that Smiley I'll let you know as soon as I know!

By the way: if anyone else is interested, she can make new ones Smiley All suggestions/questions are welcome. If you want a 1-piece, 3-piece or 4-piece that's no problem.

Just wanted to follow up on this thread that the purchased art was received and payment was released by the escrow agent.
