While I am not disputing the fact that Binance is a very good exchange, I find it hard to believe that someone in cryptosphere (and a Bitcointalk member)  has not heard of Coinbase.

Maybe you have missed this part? I am pretty sure that it is suggesting that Coinbase is turning into a scammy exchange:

Bug in Coinbase systems prevents some exchange users from withdrawing funds
Technical issues led to the inability of some of Coinbase’s users to withdraw their funds. The issues, however, did not cause any exit scamming accusations

Even if that event did not cause any exit scam accusations, it is hinting that coinbase is a scam based on the author's way of presenting the news.

People pumping and dumping coins is not coinbase's fault, it's the opportunistic traders who make the call. Upon reading the article on the OP, I have concluded that those 40 coins coinbase is planning to add are not that much of a shitcoin and most of them can have a real world use cases in the future.

I've heard about the fake and natural represented training amounts of this exchange, so you would more likely to trade on the exchange with higher trading amount and the one who is faking isn't worth of your trust.

You would have done more by bringing out the areas where Coinbase is the real scam because if there is anything to go by with the link you posted, you have just publicized how Coinbase has been doing its bit in increasing the development of the crypto industry. Aside from the article that talks about the bug in their system which prevents users from withdrawing their funds which I am sure its going to be a temporary one, every other would surely work in their favor.

Coinbase might not be perfect so like other exchange sites we have out there and more importantly the big names, one or two threads have been opened against them but its not enough to tag them as scams. The real people that should be blamed are those who uses such platforms for their own selfish needs by forming several groups with the sole purpose of pumping and dumping at the expense of newbies entering the market.

Coinbase is a big deal site and there is no fake here , I also watch news which you give but it also does not talk about fraud. I think there is a problem with the system. Is there a mistake here ? You should not give bad news about it.

You are fast to label a site such as Coinbase as a scam when the problem is just about a bug in their system. So far I don't know any exchange that didn't get at least 1 bug. On the top of that this company has no use to scam people, it's a money machine generating multiple million profits per year. It's one of the few exchanges you can be "safe" to deal with.
