Thanks for your feedback. Maybe I really should start blocking people that annoy me, maybe that helps. I'm however not going to copy some compiled list of supposed bad people, because this definition is most likely subjective and I'd rather decide for myself.

All these people you mentioned are on my ignore list, you'll find that these morons look like they're the majority of the forum because they're busy trying to spam people like you off the boards because that's how they roll and it's a common theme on any forum the only difference is that on here there are that many people it looks like there's just a wall of hate, feel free to add the following people to your ignore list so you will have a much more pleasant time on the forums.

When it comes to community sites, I refuse to join any that don't have a working block/ignore function simply because it's completely taken advantage of, much like how marketers and scammers take advantage of the fact that your home phone line doesn't have a block/ignore function as well.

Included in the list are the following types, some of which you've mentioned: FUD Spreaders, racists/xenophobes, people who use personal attacks when they can't get you riled up any other way, scammers, spammers and all round in general fairly unpleasant people, funnily enough I think precisely because of the ignore function a lot of these people have given up posting now because their trolling doesn't really work.

That's one helluva list, and thanks for not including me on it, bud.

I know I'm going to step on some feet with this and I'm probably setting myself up for a medium-sized shitstorm in my direction, but I need to get my frustration out.

I came here because I thought I could get interesting info, have constructive disputes and generally read and talk about the progress and future of the cryptocurrency revolution.
What I got:

Well this forum is different as there's money to made /scammed here. The only solution is to block those people, but your list will probably become pretty big quite quickly.

Lethn is ok with arseholes and being one himself, but he just puts anybody who says something he doesn’t like on his list or when they disprove his arguments. He also loves telling everybody about how they've been put on it (I've had the honour of being on it several times). Just read his posts and you'll see he's the problem here, not everyone on his list. He also admits to being banned from nearly every forum he's ever posted on (in his own words), he just doesn't realise that he's the problem and arsehole here, then again, arseholes never do.

Theres only so much scamming you can witness by long time members, mods, admins of the forum before you just get over it.
The annoying part is they scam and do shit, time passes and newbies start sucking them off cause they are such 'high profile members'
It is my problem though, so I should really be nice to people.. I am a nice person... its just this forum frustrates me... but yet i can't leave

I have to agree with OP. Aside from certain members, who are great don't get me wrong, this forum is filled with some of the nastiest human beings I have ever had the misfortune of meeting.

I think he's in his 20s but acts like a petulant child. If you read his posts you'll see he's just mad at the world for various reasons, most of which are his own fault, but obviously it's everybody elses.  

I haven't ignored anyone on here. Seems kinda petty and childish unless you're dealing with a serial troll or spammer, but even then the fact that they posted is still visible any way (and I know Lethn must just unhide them because he can't resist replying to them every now and again).

Nah, people like hilariousandco might well say to other people that the reason he's on my ignore list is because I disagree with him but the real reason is because he kept on constantly goading me over fake presumptions he made about me and tried to start a flame war on other threads as well like he's doing now, I simply don't have the time for that kind of crap anymore.

There also appear to be many nice people on here, but by swamping me with a big amount of insufferable posts the (hopefully false) first impression this board gave me and is bound to give anyone is this: Bitcoiners are a greedy, remorseless, partly psychopathic, immature, hateful mob. I am almost sure this is a false impression, but it's what it looks like! Seriously, I have never felt less sympathy for any forum, even users of 4chan and Newgrounds have better social behaviour... and with this kind of culture you want to run a revolution that is supposed to make the world a better place? I honestly fear for the outcome.

Maybe I'm just lurking the wrong subforums, or maybe I'm unlucky to find troll parties in every thread I click on. I hope it's something like that.

Please, someone restore my faith in this subculture!

Haven't heard about this site. I am newbie here just because until recent times I used to read only reddit but recently things have changes and now there are a lot of garbage on reddit and this is I think is better. What I do like in Reddit - if there is any news they are already on this site. So fast

This why most people are finding new forums that are invite only. To keep out newbies and generally annoying people out, it is so nice when you just posting with around less than 200 people.
