Thanks as I said in another post I aint the best at searches even on this forum I get a lot of "not found" notices. Looked at your links and will keep searching. Day two and so far the wife hasn't killed me yet, hehehe.

Remember, the heat is just a function on the energy consumption of the miner. ASICs are enormously efficient at converting electricity into heat. I believe the T2T has various tunes from performance down to efficiency with efficiency consuming the least wattage overall. Choosing the tune that consumes the least energy will reduce the heat output and the fan speed as a consequence. If the T2T firmware is anything like the T1/other inno firmwares there is no easy way to control fan speeds so this is your best bet.

On my T1's, in a 80-88ºF ambient room, have the fans running at:

1: Performance (17TH/s): 71%
2: Balanced (16TH/s): 57%
3: Balanced (15.8TH/s): 49%

As you can see there is quite a bit of difference between balanced and performance with a wattage difference of approx. 250 watts.

Also, inno has said that running their miners laying on their side with the heatsinks facing up will improve cooling efficiency... the T1's actually came with little rubber feet on the side to protect the finish of the case/reduce transmitted vibrations (presumably).

Thanks I already turned it down to the efficency setting and update firmware. Thanks for the tip on puttingh it on it side will see if that helps any.

The reason you are not finding anything is these machines are not meant to be muffled or restricted.

They are industrial miners and are not meant to be run at home. They are meant to be run in a proper environment where noise is not an issue.

I mine at home but have them in the garage. Sealed a solid door, even popped the trim off to do so, sound dampening panels, etc. The sound bothers the shit out of wife. Even myself at times. I don't want to do much to the machines, I want to power up and let them mine. Repair is very inconvenient for small miners.
