A good way to spot a scammer is that they are usually pushy or just unreasonable in general. Trade/buy/sell safe

As a new member to the Bitcoin community (in general), how would I go about building a reputation as a trusted buyer? I'm afraid that since I'm new, I won't get many (if any) opportunities to prove that I'm trustworthy. Unfortunately, at this time, my only option is paypal/debit card. And I acknowledge the obvious fear buyers will have about paypal. But there isn't much I can really do. =\

Any advice?

OK, I will see if I can help... try this, if there is a meet up of btc user in the area, join in... like the ones where I live 'beer for bitcoin' type of events... meet and greet people, they need to know you to trust if you do not have much street cred... also they will usually exchange there too, so bingo! instant cred....

Also you may want to trade with others who have been listed and when things go through then again... more cred....

Like in a relationship, trust takes time.

Is there anyone doing meetups in the northland?  Duluth MN / Twin Ports area?

If not, is there anyone in the area at all on here?  There seems to be very little "bitcoin movement" going on here.

Perhaps someone should establish a wiki posting of trusted resources?  A wiki page that is limited in users that can edit it for extra precaution
Wiki might not work for that becouse first somehow you must decide who would be the users, it might eather creat way too big group of people with easy way to get in and spoil any important data or isolated community with lack of new, fresh and impotent entries. Modern market are changing in great speed every day so we cabt put ourselfes into small chamber with no dors, witch would be closed group on such wiki.

Ofcourse there is nothing that would stop any one from creating such option for others, but i personally would rather ignore such option.

I am currently working on a website that will only contain/list the best and most trusted resources and links.  www.bitcoinallstars.com

VERY preliminary right now, but  I am working on it and updating it daily.

I am currently using a-ads for possible future advertising, but I can guarantee I would not put any garbage or bad links and am aiming for a fully safe bitcoin site with only safe links within.

Wish I could say the same about the websites I'm listing, but I wouldn't know that much.  Currently working on my resources page, where I will be listing this forum and a few other resource sites I have found to be safe, and at least backed by those who want to keep scams out of the system.

Although I can't really list honest/dishonest traders, certain warnings or precautions will be mentioned if a site has a group of dishonest people within, such as this forum.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, and who am I to be trusted to post good links anyway, well... I can only try.
