As we can see right now even the good decisions and good market news are not affecting the price positively so the price is still going down in the reasons is not understandable for me why bitcoin is not growing.

It's not about news affecting the price. It's about people not being able to understand what they're reading. The price bounced back because the SEC was about to review ETF applications, among which there was a complaint on the last year's rejection of Winklevoss ETF. THat complaint did not achieve anything and the ETF did not get approved anyway, which people took for a bad sign and later on the date of decision on the other ETFs was moved to September, which again people took for a rejection and dumped everything. The market is full of idiots.

How the hell could anyone know that? The SEC only postponed their decision, they did not approve or approvet. that is to say that they need some time to think better and then decide whether to approve it or not approve. I read (I can not remember the place I read) that the main concern of the SEC is the security of investors, I do not know if it was exactly the words I read, but I believe that it can even make sense, crypto is a market manipulated and still very dangerous. Take the example of those days, the SEC postponed its decision and just because of this the price fell a lot

huh, so if when end of December come, we will see the future of Crypto market? I so confused if SEC reject ETF, what will happen? We will see Big dump, or market will come back the start again?

Yes if it is rejected no doubt that it will affect the market but I am sure that it will not be a permanent dump very soon bitcoin price will recover and will again start trading in a normal way. I think that we have already passed from such situation for so many times, but for every tie bitcoin respond well and recover in a good way.

Oh we are all optimistic, but how about whales? Whales alway do somthing agaist the most of investors! I think bull market will on going at least till December, when the final decision have to release. One more pospone decision will happen and market will kill who not patience.

The SEC decision about the bitcoin ETF made people to panic and their was a massive sell off and price went down significantly. No one can accurately predict what is likely to happen in a months time wether the bitcoin ETF would be approved or not but we hope for the best from the decision

Adopting a bitcoin-ETF, that is, allowing such a derivative in traditional markets, would mean that the crypto currencies have already been adjusted enough to gain access to institutional investors. And since this decision was delayed the market reacted in this way.

In my opinion the SEC effect will be negative for Bitcoin because this is very important now and many people are waiting for approval from the exchangers. I think this is important to them because many of them are big investors and are waiting for big investments to be made through this exchange. Whales always do the best of investors. Bitcoin’s bullrun on the start of august 2018 was due to expectation of sec approval of etf. But sec declined and lots of people sold their bitcoins due to dismay. If approved, bitcoin price may jump multiple folds.

To add information, i think sec is just being careful as they see the crypto prices as easily manipulated.  They want to protect the masses from falling into potential victims.  Bitcoin community must do something to make sec feel the crypto as acceptable.

Actually when I heard that the decision is postponed to September I was not surprised and thought that would be a good sign. Not rejecting immediately means they give it some serious though this time...also it would have been hard to explain that the Winkevoss one got rejected and that one just passed through...anyway I also did not understand the reaction of the market.

At this stage, no one actually knows what the effect would be but it seems the SEC are still waiting for comments, and I have actually been of the opinion that before we get to see any approval in the long run, it would be sometimes next year. Although the VanEck SolidX Bitcoin Trust ETF seems to be the most promising so far, but nothing is guaranteed.

Nothing is certain yet and these are all just speculations so better watch the market and let's just hope for the best.

However the proposal is going to end up either approved or disapproved, I really would not expect so much more than what the market would have done normally anyway. Sure, SEC's decisions would bring about some changes to the market generally and could usher in some new money into the market, which would make us see market increase hugely, and then we see the market cap as well growing hugely and then in the long run, probably or possibly get a more matured market.

All the above, like you said, nothing is certain yet, but when the time comes, we will get to know how things end up playing out.

U.S. SEC Sets 30 September 2018 As New Deadline for Decision on VanEck-SolidX Bitcoin ETF, but today is 30 September and no news releases. It mean we have to wait 3 month more to know what will happen with Bitcoin ETF. For a short time we see Bitcoin price is trading around 6k5$. I hope it will sideway at least for next two week so Altcoin have a time to recover.

In my opinion, it is just one of the signals which the market is waiting. but when it is delayed, the investors are very disappointed and the market is still dumped
