According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Even though the reference made here was humorous, it does hold truth. Just like history, we learn from our mistakes or get the chance to fix the things which we missed out on. In other words, this forum is here to help us all.

Bitcoin has a database of almost a decade that records the development of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Many members and developers have been here since the start and shared their opinions and experiences. It’s really fun being in such an engaging community. Although bitcoin is crashing right now, it will get back up stronger than ever before.

Bitcointalk has all the records of what has happened to not only Bitcoin but also to the whole industry of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. There are many members here who has been with us since the start and have shared their valuable opinions and experiences which have helped to shape the community more. So, I am quite happy with this forum being a history channel.

The history brings up to speed someone of us who didn't join bitcoin early. You find useful information here serve as guide future trades. There are also good discussions about recent news and the likely  outcomes of such news.  It's history and current new together.

Yeah I also find it interesting to read some of the old posts. According to the price of bitcoin at that time, you can get a feeling of how people feels about it. Some people happy, some people sad. It is interesting to get to know more about history, and it helps us to make current decisions as well.

Correct, most of the crypto's are here and this isn't only a forum for bitcoin but is a forum for cryptocurrencies though it started as a forum for bitcoin.

Looking at those old posts years ago and how they think about bitcoin is really interesting. Reading the legendary pizza and other bitcoin's part of history.
