(Title of this thread based on current exchange rate.)

I'm not sure if I'm caught up on all the Atlas drama, but did he just close his account over a half bitcoin debt which current equals $1.91? I read that he said the debt will be repaid. If I owed somebody that little, I wound round it up to at least $5.00 and ask where would you like me to send the USPS money order and apologize for the inconvenience. Was/is he that unstable? You don't think that he'll try to get back on the Alex Jones show and try to convince him that Bitcoin is a scam, do you?

I didn't want to state this before, but I once had two very close friends that acted exactly like Atlas. Sadly, they both commented suicide. Let us hope that Atlas gets help soon before someone gets hurt.

Full Disclosure: 2/3 of one of the paragraphs above, I made up.

I will close this thread the minute I feel I'm attacked. <---That sentence is a lie!

In memory of Atlas, I will start a at least one new thread a day that has nothing to do with Bitcoin and post in Bitcoin Discussion, thereby giving Theymos job security. (theymos, I know I have poked a couple jabs at you, but it's all in good fun--I have nothing against you and admire your efforts here. That said, thank you, theymos)

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

He borrowed much more from me in the past. I have no doubt he'll pay it back.

I know I could go back and find out for myself who he owes it to, but opted to ask here. Who exactly does he owe .5 BTC and would that person be interested in me paying off Atlas's debt? This is an honest proposal.

I'm such an idiot! I start a thread based on .5 BTC debt mentioned in another thread, and for the life of me I can't find it. Somebody please help me out here or I'll...I'll...start another thread about 2710 Tom Williams Ave. (I'm still kicking myself over that one!)

I need a name so that I can PM him/her and ask if he/she will accept payment from me.

Bruno

PS: Perhaps Atlas had to leave because his mother ship (Google comet in the news) is doing a return flyby.

No Way! There's a minor at that address.

I can't get that look he has in this photo out of my head. I'll now compare it to another image of a TM (reverse engineer the image link).

Lol.

Personally speaking,

If you cross your eyes, and stare at the rooftops, it says HELP ME.

Clearly.

I feel sorry for him, he's obviously emotionally unstable.

The fact he needs constant engagement, constant threads about ideas, says a lot about his mindset.

But he does come off as "Holier than now".

I think the best advice to him has been given to him several times, drop the "My excrement dosen't stink" attitude.

And of course, follow through with at least one project, even with the nay'sayers being vocal.

Essentially, but not over 1.91.

Just a vocal troubled youth of the forum that left abruptly, and then you appeared, and your name has a ref. to a rebirth of sorts..

So.. some drew conclusions...I cant blame them honestly...

Darn you, teflone. I wanted to see if Ragnar watched the 58 minute of BW and EG interviewing IG and atom. I was hoping he would learn the secret Bitcoin handshake. Now that he's on his way on becoming a full member, we have no choice but to show him.

Remember to pay your $1.91 dues before you reach your 100th post, otherwise the whole process starts over again.

You fell right into my trap, teflone. I knew you didn't know the secret handshake. I changed the order of the pics. The pinky swear is the first part, not the last. I'm willing to bet you get the other three in the wrong order, also. I'll go one step further. I bet you don't even know what finger the Bitcoin Ring goes on when it 12 Noon, Tuesday.  Wink

Can you also start games with vague and openly interpretable rules and then go back on them when it comes time to pay up?

Because in the mythology Atlas was the bearer of the heavens, not the world. So that would actually be correctly depicted in a sense.

seriously?

when did it become OK to post up a bunch of personal information about a teenager?

harassing a minor to this level is fucked up, even if he acts like a self important douchebag.

for fucks sake people, hes just a kid.... take the crazy shit down a notch.

going through the trouble of collecting the personal info and posting a thread specifically to fuck with a child is fucked up. period.

...even if he posted the information first....

he is a teenager who (like every other teenager) is making stupid decisions based on youthful ignorance....adults exploiting that ignorance for the sole purpose of antagonizing him is sick.

i shouldnt need to explain that.
