O...and before I Forget, since I am in the Forum right now.... NEWS DCT develops and delivers Bitcoin and Litecoin Mining ASIC NEWS from Dream Chip Technologies: www.dreamchip.deDCT develops and delivers Bitcoin and Litecoin Mining ASIC We are happy to announce that we have signed an Agreement with Mining Asics Technologies B.V. in the Netherlands for the development of SHA 256 Bitcoin and Scrypt Hashing products! For further information, please contact marketing@mining-asics-technologies.com or visit https://www.mining-asics-technologies.comMarc Following this with some interest. I'd like to offer some advice to you, if you truly are a newbie on this forum. (good advice even if the account is all that's new ) This place will get brutal, even if you're 100 percent legit. Not might, will. Do NOT react to this by insulting the trolls/freaks/concerned denizens. You can't tell them apart when emotions get hot. If you have even a hint of delay, say so about a second after you know about it. This will raise your credibility in this very ugly market tenfold while costing you only time. If someone wants a refund, give it, regardless of TOS. The positive feedback will give you more credibility, leading to more sales. DO NOT VANISH!!!Absolutely the worst thing you can do is stop communicating. Silence is not only not golden, it is the breeding ground of FUD. It will KILL your company. If something is wrong, tell us. We are aware that this is bleeding edge tech. If something unexpectedly goes right, Tell us! Everyone likes good news. Don't lie. Even if the news is bad/ugly/fatal. You will be found out. Some of the company hunters here don't have any other goal in life. If you're legit, they are your best friend. But they will find EVERYTHING related to you, your company, you ancestry, your prefernces... once pissed off they are like robotic bloodhounds. They don't stop. So if you're legit, they'll help you. If you're not... well, you were warned. Since the above comes off as a bit unfriendly, let me say that my tone is from having gotten too involved in one of your competitor's threads, and getting my own rep a bit tarnished by association. I personally came out good, but because of me I think some people bought a machine that is unlikely to ever be delivered. Inadvertent on my part, but a shame to me nevertheless. I actually wish you well, given attention to the above. Kevin Biomech This is easily the best advice and should be a sticky by itself for all companies. One more word CONSISTENCY is a key factor in all of the above. Do right by the people on here and they will do right by you and will essentially advertise for you. Word of mouth (good) advertising is the holy grail of marketing. I am taking a wait and see approach here as I have already been burned twice. It would be beneficial for you guys to get some sample systems out to a few well known community members to teardown and review. Its a huge start in credibility. I have noticed that the companies sending sample units are the ones doing the best right now.

SCAM! Stay away from it!
Right they don't appear to have done anything to prove themselves otherwise at this point. But biomechs advice is rock solid. They SHOULD be doing that in order to have some success. But they aren't so likely they are just going to fade away.

well I do not work for the company, but I do have two scrypt miners on order and Marc told me they would be at the Vienna BTC Show next weekend showing off this new machine and he told me it would be mining there so people will be making videos of the unit hard at work and marc told me they would too very soon.

Not hard for a scammer to tell you they will be at some Bitcoin conference or other. It proves nothing at all. In fact I have seen another scammer use exactly this technique: "I will be at so and so Bitcoin conference next week where you can see my hardware mining". Turned out to be a scam. Why would anyone pay without first having proof??

You won't win with pre orders, no matter what you tell yourself. Terms and conditions, what's that? Delays? What, you didn't read the fine print where it says pre order don't guarantee a delivery date. Q2/Q3 of year 2014 you say? Might as well be 2015

No one else in the forum has ordered. how do you know that no one else on the forum has ordered? do you work for them? I'm not hyping them - I'm merely posting what I know to be facts at his point in time. The pictures are a fact - the video is a fact. they're attending a show next week with their miner - that's a fact. I have two scrypt miner on order from them - that's the extent of my relationship with this company aside from doing my due diligence on the individual involved and their backgrounds before ordering. I figured I'd just share the news with all of you - although it seems there are some that really don't appreciate me sharing it and have been down right hostile and accusatory - and I can't figure out why - because I've never done anything to any of these people. I wonder why they feel so threatened by the existence of a new piece of mining hardware - perhaps they have some sort of hidden agenda? Doesn't their hostility make you wonder too? If you want to believe I have some sort of ulterior motive - that's certainly your right, but I invite you to come visit me in my office in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and look for mining hardware or any indication that I work for this company. Far from it, I'm just an IT guy with a regular job who likes to mine and like computer hardware and happens to like the company I chose to provide me two pretty fast scrypt miners soon. what's wrong with endorsing a company you believe in and have faith in - believe me - after being jerked around by a number of chinese scrypt miners - these guys are a breath of fresh air and it's refreshing to know real business people are involved in the industry who understand how to treat their customers., instead of a bunch of shysters. Trust me - I was really holding my breath the day I wire transferred off my deposit to Denmark but over the past several weeks I've come to have faith they'll deliver - hey - if they don't shame on me and there will be no worse critic than myself - but for right now - I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I also say really nice things about Simon at Hashra - I've bought several items from him and have one of his new 24 MHS units on order which I hope to have by the end of the month. I endorse him also because he's been straight up with me, honest, communicative and not beyond answering some tough question I've had for him.

between 7/21 & 8/15 Wow, thought it'd be sooner. Quite a ways off. Usually a good rule of thumb is if it doesn't ship within a couple weeks, stay far away. Well, good luck with that order and hopefully they come through in that time frame.

Well, good luck with that order and hopefully they come through in that time frame. that is what they've been quoting right from the start - better to be realistic than lie like so many of these companies do then incur the wrath of the public. for $44/mhs (scrypt) I don't mind the wait and plugged it into my calculations when making the decision to buy or not. To be honest I don't mine LTC or Doge so I could care less about their difficulty levels 10 weeks from now, I mine mostly new coins that have large upsides. the scrypt miners are slowly inching down toward the $100/mhs mark so it will take a quantum leap before they get to $44/mhs but may by the time these units arrive - regardless - time will tell.

It won't take a quantum leap in order to jump from 100$/mhs to 44$/mhs. You are comparing GPU-s to ASICs, not ASICs to ASICs. Last year in bitcoin mining we had a very rapid decline in prices. I'm expecting that too when it comes to scrypt since more companies will release their own chips very soon.

I know that Alpha Technology provides a Viper miner which is 90Mh/s for $9100 and the Zeus Miner which provides 72Mh/s for $9999. Also don't forget about KnC with their Titan and Mini Titan which is already better than 44$/mh/s? I am sure that there are more, but I don't know them. Even if they have the same pricing expect a reduction in prices from everyone in order to get more sales.
