hi, I am doing some travelling for a coming venture and want some backup coin since markets are all over the place both on and offline.
here is a bit more info

Amount: 0.2BTC
Repay: 0.24BTC (20%)
Collateral: none, for now. I would rather maintain my account so I can continue my business
Duration: 30 days

I will pay probably before the 30 days, but 30 days maximum.
It would be great if someone could do this!
Thank you Smiley

Awesome, verified!

Do you want me to send the BTC to this same address?

Update: I have this thought in mind. I will need your account as collateral to ensure that you will repay in time. I have lost too much money just for being nice. Here you can see some of the defaulted loans so far:
SCAM ALERT!!! Lost 0.08 BTC [Please stay safe]

To be honest, you shouldn't be taking an account as a collateral because that gives defaulter an easy to sell their accounts. Just in case if he defaults the loan, what would you do with the account? Probably sell it to get whatever you can to cover your loss? Sounds like the root cause of account trading?

I have previously tried to warn them against accounts being taken as collateral. But they would just turn a deaf ear to our words. Its true that account sales are allowed but it is discouraged.

I can take the horse to the pond but I cant make it drink. Its the decision of the lender to do what they feel would take care of the risk of default. So good luck to the lender.

I just held onto mine (when I used to do it). Smiley
It's not much of a collateral that you take but just some sort of incentive to get people to pay back.

He hasn't been online for a good couple of months other than to post the loan listing, I'd quit this one mday if I were you...

That's fine, one of my scrappy alts in my collection may be listed on an exchange soon, so I might add this as a form of collateral (at 120-130%) if I can't get the loan without it.
I was not willing to give in my account as collateral anyway, as I am always doing business with it.
Thanks Smiley

Thanks for the understanding and you are always welcome with a valid collateral until we both establish a certain level of understanding. It's not that I really need a collateral but it's a safe option with someone who I never dealt with before. ATM I have some lending of around 0.08 BTC without any collateral and I am not worried about them at all.  All depends on the level of understanding we have for each others. Anyway, here is my service topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4485985.0

120 - 130% is basically very close call as a collateral specially when a token/coin have high volatility. Just make sure you have enough volume which always will have over 115% value of the total amount. Higher percentage is always better and safe. If my negative trust bothers you then feel free to use an escrow.
