We will be releasing a new site shortly which will include new features, below is a list of some of those features.  There are more but we're holding off on announcing those

• Giveaways/Promotions
• Notifications - Trades, cancels, deposits, withdraws, etc will now produce a popup notification on success or failure
• Market + Inc Deposit - Hate leaving the page to see how close your coins are to confirming?  Soon you won't have to, we will show you this informatoin on the market page
• Coin Control panel via Market page - Never leave the market you are actively trading, we'll provide you with a button that will popup all the tools you need to see deposits, withdraws, trades, trade history, cancels etc.  You'll even be able to withdraw right from the coins market page.[/l]

Currently we have over 50 coin pairs, each available to trade to BTC, LTC or DGC.

Security

I have taken many measures to secure your data.  I recently hired a penetration tester and we have fixed any issues that were found.  We are currently behind a WAF appliance and will be monitoring the traffic along with the IPs etc that attack.  If you find a bug you feel may be exploited please report it to me for a small bounty.

Integrity

Myself and the CryptoALTeX team will do our best to maintain a high level of integrity.  Each of us have been burned by stolen coins somewhere along the line.  We will post to twitter, the system status page, and IRC whenever we have any issues.  We will also post timely updates when we are in maintenance.  One of the most frustrating things to a user is being unaware of what is going on while your funds are tied up.  We will do our best to alleviate this pain.

Welcome to CryptoALTeX's Get Listed Program

The Get Listed program offers some unique ways to get a coin listed.  Each registered user gets 1 vote per day for their coin.  You can also donate .001BTC to your coins posted address on our "Get Listed" page.


Each vote or .001BTC donation generates a "Chance" at being listed. The coin with the most chances after 3 days will automatically be listed on our site. The remaining coins that have a minimum of 100 chances will have their chances entered into a random selection which we will live stream and record. The coin that wins, will be listed. All unselected chances will roll over to the next drawing.

This means that the big money coins won't always win, giving the little guy a chance.

CryptoALTeX reserves the right to list any coin at any time regardless of the drawing. Any coin listed for trading on CryptoALTeX that is already part of the drawing will have its chances removed from the drawing. In the event CryptoALTeX decides to list the top two coins of the week, the other coins will still have a random drawing.

Feedback is welcome on how we can improve the chances for smaller coins to have a chance at being listed on an exchange without having to dump a ton of BTC into the pot.  We hope this seems fair to all and will be monitoring community response to this feature closely.

I just listed BlackCoin and if that goes well I will continue to add coins until I feel adding anymore will hurt resources, I'll then bring up some more servers

I would like to announce the open beta of www.cryptoaltex.com.  I began working on this exchange when there were no other exchanges capable of listing all the coins on the market.  Today is the beginning of the open beta.  

I am currently offering RON, EAC and POT markets.  I have the capacity to add two more markets and will be looking for some good coins to generate traffic.  If you have a coin you want listed please come talk to me on freenode @ #cryptoaltex.

It's definitely a nice looking exchange, is there any chance you can code in some graphs to show trending for the coins ? Preferably with an option to select between candlestick & line and options to select between timeframes ie last hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, all time ?

Have traded on here and it was great, everything went smoothly.

Some simple suggestions:
-Show trade volume for the last 24h somewhere for each pairing
-Include the sum of all current buy orders and sum of all current sell orders

Also, I noticed when I was putting in a buy order you can click your BTC balance but it puts the value in the 'Amount' field when I was expecting it to go into the 'Total Buy (BTC)' field. This way you just enter the price you want to pay per coin and then click your balance and it automatically calculates the max amount of coins you can purchase with your balance of BTC, and this value appears in the 'Amount' field.
