In short, the Crypto market has overreacted to the latest SEC statement. Delays can be considered a good thing for the SEC to be able to listen to public opinion. I also feel the same. I was disappointed this morning by the numbers I've seen and I know it's not OK. But didn't also overreacted when they've pushed the price to 8k in a over optimistic hope that an ETF will be approved.
But I've read quite some logical voices telling that the market should not be this volatile if we want SEC take us serious. And this could be quite a problem.

On another hand this is obviously right: postpone is way better than reject.

Crypto does not need a Bitcoin ETF to survive and the SEC does not make regulations for the whole world. Only US markets. If they reject it again my bet is you will see someone launch a Bitcoin ETF in Europe or Asia. You are also placing too much store in the importance long term of Bitcoin. If what you predict does come to pass I hope that we finally see the Altcoins decouple from Bitcoin and start trading on their own merits.

SEC played smartly here, by postponing the decision they are going to take peoples opinions and it will lead them to the appropriate decision. But, the increment of price has resulted from their expectation of getting approved.

The support we got was overwhelming. I don't know what more the SEC is looking for. I'm sure that they have read all the responses and by now well informed. I'm speculating that someone big from above had asked them to postponed it. Anyways, I would just advise everyone not to have high hopes for a approval, just saying. If they wanted to approved it, they don't need to prolong their decision, in my opinion.

I think SEC will postpone Bitcoin ETF on September, 30 again and price of BTC will fall lower. Whales need more time to buy and accumulate cheap Bitcoin as much as possible and launch ETF after that happens only because after ETF approval we will see new moon.
