FUD section

I feel that a large number of good threads and posts are getting buried under an avalanche of FUD. I was thinking it would be nice to have a FUD section for any unsubstantiated posts that are potentially created for the purposes of manipulation the market.

But what does everyone else think?

I would have no problem with labelling shitcoin promotions as FUD.

I don't think anyone's gonna bother, regardless the outcome.

"Speculation" has become a joke.

Every other post is a retarded "$3 BY END OF WEEK, TRUST ME I KNOW!" or "OBAMA JOINS BITCOIN FOUNDATION, 2 DA MOON!" (followed by - "Wouldn't that be nice hay guyzz amirite?!!!" in the post body)

Can you just make a dedicated FUD (and err.. anti-FUD) forum and permanently move all these crap threads to die there. People will get the picture soon enough?

Isn't the Speculation forum the FUD forum?   I think some place to put obvious troll posts or FUD could be a good idea though. However, half of the time you can't tell between a genuine moronic newb question and someone trolling.

Speculation is hardly a science or an art form. Most speculation threads are exactly that; speculation.

Yeah but so many of them are just sensationalist post titles and troll content or terrible manipulation rally attempts. Admittedly Speculation has had it's fair share of stupidity, but I feel the honest / dishonest thread ratio is getting worse of late.

Anyway, modding is probably never a walk in the park to get the balance right, just weighing in my 2c.
