10:00am tokyo time approaching. I can see massive sells on gox, nearly 5000btc in last half hour. wonder why.. mtgox announcement maybe?

They surely did. Via TM, or hacking, or account takeover that was fixed in January, but has been in the wild for who knows how long. The fact that they never said: "Your coins are safe." or "We're solvent." speaks loudly! |

Unconfirmed reports on reddit that trading has now been disabled. Still waiting for a screenshot from someone I consider trustworthy.

Trading has stopped. I can confirm there is no activity happening. Of course there has been no announcement though. It just stopped. This order book is usually moving like crazy. http://bitcoin.clarkmoody.com/ Nothing now. And the price on their homepage usually updates constantly but now it just oscillates between two similar prices. |
