Because there are many airdrops out there that made only to promote their project without proof and if they are developing a real project or fake project.
So you must check their white paper first and ask for some expert here in the forum if it is real or fake.

Yes, they are good for giving you some degree of awareness for what's out there -  but do make sure to go beyond what they are promoting.


I follow airdrop alert on twitter,  between that and just keeping an eye on ANN threads in the altcoin section,  you'll have more than enough.    It gets pretty overwhelming really.

They are all mainly promoting coins with referal. Therefore they will win a lot by inviting you in their campaign but you will just win some scraps and most of the time you will not be able to withdraw your Airdrop coins because you won't manage to have enough referal.

I like telegram channel of Airdrops.io. They frequently update channel and find latest airdrops. Also I advise you Airdropalert's telegram channel too. Too many airdrop channels do not check airdrops wheter they are scam or not. But these two channel are fine at finding scam projects.

Edit: I advise you to complete valuable airdrops. For me It is at least 10 USD worth airdrops.

I agree with you. I just remember in 2017, it is easy for some MLM ICO to get list on Coinmarketcap ( bitconnect, bitserial, hextra coin, ..). But now, maybe we have a better environment
