This Pool is a direct inspiration from hilariousandco's Bitcointalk's English Premier league pool. I am looking for only 10 people to join for the first month to kick things off. As the Caribbean Premier League has launched yesterday. I believe this is the best time to start things off.

The entry fee is 0.005 BTC, The Pot will become 0.05 BTC once the 10 members have joined. If I manage to get a sponsor the pot will only go up. Prize distribution will be as follow.

1st prize 0.02 BTC.
2nd prize 0.015 BTC.
3rd prize 0.0075 BTC.
4th prize 0.005 BTC.
5th Prize 0.0025 BTC.

The Pool rounds will last 30 days each.

How will the things work?
I will create a post in the Games & round section. I will post upcoming games each day. You guys can place your predictions in the following format there.

Code:

Game: RSA vs Srilanka
Toss: RSA to Win. (10 points)
Win: RSA (10 points)
Runs: By 50 runs (10 points).
Wickets: By 4 wickets (10 points).

A margin of +/- 20 Runs will be applied. So E.g South Africa scored 280 runs and Srilanka got all out on 220 runs. That means South Africa won by a margin of 70 runs. You will be credited 10 points for being in range. 50+20 = 70 runs.

A margin of +/- 2 wickets will be applied too.

Don’t think you’ll find more than a handful of cricket fans to join a pool unfortunately. Wish you good luck obviously but think you’ll struggle. It’s certainly not for me, fucking boring imo

Is there an Indian or Pakistani sub section? You might have better luck posting there.

Yeah, I got the memo, When I posted in this thread. Almost everyone is just bumping up their signature posts. The Pool got almost zero traction in that thread.

It's strange that you struggling to find players. I see that Cricket discussion thread is quite active. But seems that people don't want to pay for fun, they prefere to earn from sig campaigns while discussing about cricket
