So, TLDR;

Today I was approached by this "promise it's not fake" telegram account @MichelleJamess

Standard stock image picture of a white female at a laptop, nothing suspicious, right?

Flag 1:
- image is grainy, and looks like a stock photo

Does she look familiar?

Flag 2:
- conversation starts with "Hi Sir"

** now I know that this might just be manners on someone's part, as they're polite, but in crypto world, usually the use of "sir" is associated with certain groups of people

Flag 3:
- negotitation and their offer: "we're ready to pay only in our tokens, after the ICO ends"

** normally, this isn't any concrete reason to flag the project as SCAM, but in combination with others, it's a dead giveaway

Flag 4:
Their website http://cashtelex.com/ has all the buzz words that people want to see
- small soft cap
- backed by gold, silver, land, condoms, etc...
- kyc
- small price
- reasonably ok bonus

Which would be normal for a good ICO, except:
- their roadmap is silly and unreallistic
- they don't have any team
- half of the stuff on website doesn't work properly
- data on their website is inconsistent

So yeah, i'll leave it at that. Be warned, and DYOR before doing any investing

So the saga continues.

Some time after I've posted this, i get pm'ed by their "official" admin claiming that he didn't know about the @MichelleJames, and that this is totaly not related tot he official team

I have no problem to admint that i made a mistake, so i told him to prove me wrong. If he does, i'll immediately update the post

He then proceeds to nicely ask me to do it. On a trust basis. But with what happened, why should i trust a random TG person PM-ing me. I could have as easily trusted @MichelleJames

And then indirect threats come to play. Suddenly there's a "mysterious" marketing manager who i have a personal vendetta against

Or is it just a bluff to get me to remove the post? After all, it takes some effort to build a website and some community around it, scam or not.

But only time will tell.

When there's no more arguments, accuse the guy of blackmailing, right?  C'mon, that's gotta work

And the truth finally comes out

Really appreciate the OP for posting the info and exposing the ICO.
They claim that ICO is live and will be disclosing the team later.Big red flag. For sure it is a scammy ICO
I wish all the bounties and ICO announcements posted here goes through a basic vetting and checking process and only non-scammy ICOs are allowed to post their services/announcements
