I think the general consensus is that Mark is just an idiot. But even an idiot knows how to CYA.
So my guess is that he is a millionaire idiot and will have a cold storage wallet with millions in bitcoins no matter what hole in the world we all chase him to.

I am not sure Mark Karpeles stole any coins, no evidence to prove either way.
However, I am sure he knew Gox is short on coins. There is no way a CEO would not know how much coins are in the hot and cold wallets. If he knew Gox is down on bitcoins and tried to cover it up, isn't this fraud?

Then they still hoped and thought noway MtGox is bankrupted. Some even sent fiat money into to "took advantage" of the low price. Now they still think oh.... MtGox is just a failed business run by an incompetent CEO. Seriously ppl? WAKE THE FCK UP DUMBASSES! |
