I believe they lost some, and spent a lot. Has anyone ever seen what type of lifestyle the executives from Gox are living?

I dont think they ever has 750,000 BTC in their combined accounts as they claim.

There is only like 12 million minted.    As you know 90% of that BTC is held by like 80 people.

SO assuming less than 20% of that is available  float, 2.4M in the whole world.  Its hard to believe Mt Gox had 33% of it.

This isn't the first time this has happened. Look at April 2013. People and the media were calling Bitcoin dead and the exchanges useless after that bubble burst yet look where we are today. But just to be clear they lost their money due to their incompetence!

I can hardly believe a company handling million of $ can be unaware of daily balance until 744,000 coins stolen.

They were handling hundreds of millions of dollars but it doesn't mean they are professional and skilled in every aspect of their business, it barely means they were here at the right time, took risks and got lucky
